September Patch Notes Discussion

2) I have the yield key binding under Y, but it isn't working, and all the rest are. Has anyone else noticed this?

The F1 key isn't working in my game (victories/score screen). It worked fine before the patch. Edit: I tried to set another key for it, it still doesn't work. The screen opens normally if I click direct on the menu.

Fighters now take damage while attacking ground targets!

Reloaded an autosave to look again. It seems, the adjacent Maori battleship provides AA cover, although I am at peace with everyone. With animations on, I see the battleship firing too. I'll be confronting Kupe shortly in the WC Security Council:trouble:

A bug, it seems. I'm also uploading my autosave with the situation.

Playing a Terra map with Dido on King level. It's 1745 and not a single other civ has tried to settle the new large continent. Anyone else had a problem with the AI on Terra?

Maybe friendly fire is in the design?
Battleships must employ very nervous AA gunners, they shoot first, and ask questions never. :)

Now I wonder, would neutral battleships provide cover for an AI at war with another AI against the latter's air attacks? If they programmed battleships to only check for an incoming air attack and nothing else...
If it is not too complicated, could you model a scenario, where A is at war with B, and C is at peace with both of them, then make B air attack some target of A, with C's battleships nearby A's unit under attack. Would C's battleships provide cover in that situation as well, or is it only the case for barbarians that got overlooked?

Acquiring 8 policy card slots via wonders, while still in T2 government, no longer unlocks eureka for, e. g., Computers. This eureka does require 8 inherent policy slots, so it was bugged before?

I seem to recall they said it was changed in an earlier patch so that only inherent policy slots would count, not sure if there was a bug in that update. But only T3 governments are supposed to trigger the computers eureka, sounds like it's working as intended now.

Today I (surprisingly) reached a diplomatic victory. Obviously the AI does not vote against the leading player so consequently anymore. Was that in the official patch notes, I couldn't find it?

Is this something you have personally been involved in Boris?

3 times. Luckily, their aim wasn't any better than their targeting.
