Dang, even with OR we can't finish the Kremlin this turn. Revolting out of Castes and losing the extra hammers from the workshops did it to us. If I stop working food only tiles and work all hammer tiles and hire an engineer, we get 796/800 hammers. :mad:

I could whip it for 6 pops, but that seems excessive.

So, I would prefer to delay all whipping until the Kremlin is done. This will not affect WS, but it will slow down some courthouses.

Thoughts?

I'm working through the Fish build queue/whipping right now. It's challenging because I'm not sure when I'll need to build that first executive and I'm trying to squeeze in a CH. Is it more important to get the overflow into Wall Street? Or should I put the OF into an executive and finish him in 1 turn?

I'll post my Fish build plans soon to get feedback while I work through the rest of the PPP.

I could probably get Medicine in 2T if I trade for Gandhi (160) and Roosevelt (120) gold right now. Should I sell Nationalism to both of them on this turn?

No wait. I'm not going to get any failed gold next turn because every city that put hammers into it is higher on the F1 screen than Bermuda. Maybe I should just plan for Sushi in 3 turns.

But I still think I should trade for their gold. I'll need it to upgrade 1 cannon anyway (I only have 79 of the 80 gold needed).

I would build CH this turn perhaps in Fish, my gut says overflow to finish executive, but I'm away from the game so I can't tell if that is a good idea. Fish is going to have some unhappy citizens...

In the circumstances I would do whatever is necessary to get the executive out ASAP. Even if it delays the courthouse and/or wall street. Both are regrettable, but spreading Sid's is far more important.

Also I think we should fire 2 scientists In Moscow and hire 2 merchants instead, just in case we get a GS in pigs.

Chew on this:

Fish (note that base hammers goes from 33 to 24 when not in GA or running Castes)

T195 -> courthouse -> 33*1.5 = 49/120
T196 -> courthouse -> 49 + 24 * 1.5 = 85/120
T197 -> whip market for 1 –> 149/150 + 67 (whip) + 24 * 1.5 (forge + OR bonus) = 252/150 -> 102 OF
T198 -> learn Medicine -> Sushi executive -> 102 + 24 * 1.25 = 132/100 -> 32 OF
T199 -> whip grocer for 1 -> 141/150 + 67 +32 OF + 24 * 1.5 = 276/150 -> 126 OF
T200 -> whip bank for 3 –> 47/200 + 67 * 3 + 126 OF + 20 * 1.5 = 404/200 -> 200 OF
T201 -> Wall Street -> 200 OF + 24 * 1.5 = 236 hammers -> WS is ~ 40% done by T201
T202 -> whip CH with OF to WS.

I could move the CH up in the whip queue. With this plan, we'll have 4 :mad: from whipping... I'm not worried about losing pops since the population will soon thrive on raw fish. :drool:

It looks like your plan requires us to found Sids on T198, but I can't see how we can do this as we are still in state property. By my estimate we can't generate another GP for the golden age to allow us to revolt until T+4(T199) if we don't hire any scientists in GP farm (This assumes we whip the grocer immediately).

5. Send the medic axe to the Orleans battle zone (meant to suggest this last go-around...:sad:).

What medic axe? Did you mean the medic mace?

BTW, he was healing the stack that took Nanjing. I'll keep him 3 tiles east of Nanjing this turn and then I'll move him to Orleans next turn once I see what that mace on the hill is doing. I was planning to use the current mace in Nanjing to take out that CGII LB while he's in the open (~98% odds).

I guess you missed it. We're running Free Market now. I already made the switch...

That was Mitchum's idea of a joke. He switched to FM.

Yup, medic mace. Sure, kill the lb first, then you know you're free to move the medic.

Fish looks fine to me, although I also wonder if the CH is worth more than the grocer after we have founded sushi. Probably BUFFY will tell you when you hover over the various builds, which is worth more.
