By the way I can play up to RR tonight (in 4-6 hours). So if you guys want to make recommendations for the first 5-6 turns now would be the time to do it.

I think you're good to go for the next 5-6 turns. In general, try to grow our GP-generating cities as much as possible. This give us the most flexibility if we have to temporarily stave a city to get a needed great person.

Also, run as many mongrels as possible in the cities where we expect to get them.

started GA T+0, trade with Gandhi for another fish, gifted Bing-Mao to DeG

Captured Canterbury, Newcastle (1 loss of 3/5 xp treb) ceasefired, stole steam power
Only 2 Coal, one near Haiti (fallout covered), one on the Fort south of Nanjing not in our cultural radius, and 1 more Coal under Hangzhou (chinese city we let Roosy have)
Captured 2 workers in Churchill's lands, plan is to declare again this turn, I can do that I assume.
Churchill's caravel threatens our galleys in the Indian ocean.

I screwed up espionage, left it on Stalin T+0, switched to Roosy T+1, sorry, will try to adjust run a few more spies maybe if can finish RR and can spare 10-20% espionage on last turn of research will do that.

Taking it slow, so turns are 1+ hours long still hard to manage all the details. I hope you will forgive the lapse.
 
Sounds like things are going well. Yes, the turns take a long time, especially when you're at war...

Regarding epp, don't worry about it. We needed a full turn of espionage on Stalin anyway if/when we steal Military Science from him.

Be sure to research RR at 100%. Me want Mining Inc! How many turns does it look like it will take?

EDIT: Yes, you can re-declare this turn if as long as you signed a CF and not a Peace Treaty.
 
Okay Trading Nationalism or RP to Gandhi will get us 250 gold which could make the difference between RR 1 turn earlier?

Which one if any would you trade him?
 
Okay so RP would let Gandhi trade for Riflery which would be a baaaad thing.

So Nationalism is not that bad, he could switch to Nationhood, but he is already in slavery so wouldn't increase his unit spam that much.
 
Trading him Nationalism will let me spread the corporation and research railroad, I don't see a huge down side to trading him Nationalism. If I trade him Nationalism I can also get 160 gold from Roosy for Nationalism as well.

by the way Gandhi is annoyed with us.

Both will give the max they can for Nationalism (and any other tech I could trade them) so both aren't close to researching anything we can trade them.

Nationalsim gets them closer to military tradition too. Roosy isn't going to like us much when we declare war on his friend Gandhi...

Churchill war weariness affecting us
Churchill's caravels highly annoying (prevented galleys from making good time to Xian) Finally tried to lure it out with my caravel with a defensive battle which we had 68% odds of winning but of course we lost. Snuck 5 Galleys past, but now don't have any protection for the galleys

I'm thinking we pre-build trireme so converts to Frigate build when we get astronomy. Can build a caravel this turn in Hastings (instead of a 5th galley for other Gandhi front or instead of a granary there)

Or build Ironclad when we get Coal in 2 turns (too late!) annoyingly placed coal unfortunately.

Also managed to finish WS a turn early, but realized that left me with no OF for the mining executive (delaying the build 1 turn might have been mdy's plan) I think we can still build the executive in 2 turns and keep GP pace, or could try to build something else like a colosseum for max OF over 2 turns to try and get mining executive out in 1 turn.

Espionage is behind the pace because of my earlier screw up with that :( .
