Okay, I've spent a fair time arguing my case to no avail. I don't think I will be changing anyone's opinion no matter how hard I try so I'll be stepping back.
OK - I am sorry to see this, but I completely understand not wanting to be responsible for executing a plan you don't really believe in. I would however like to reinsert you in the queue ASAP. Everyone should play turns.
So Chris next (build up), then neilmeister (war). I would then like to have Revent play soon after that, since he only played 3 turns. Revent, if you are unavailable or would prefer to wait longer let me know.
For the record, my plan preferences, in order are 5, (2 or 4), 1, 3.
Revent: Do you man. I hope that AFTER this game is all said and done you play out your method so we can do a comparison! A lot of these SGOTMs seem to be at Emperor and I'm curious, since I'm not entirely convinced your war plan wouldn't work. That being said my order is:

Thanks Trystero With that said, I'm fine with 5 as well, just that I think 3 would be so much quicker and better. I initially wanted 3 myself, but seeing the spread of units made me rethink that.
@Ben, I definitely will be playing from the save to test out my way after this SG is over. I am almost certain it will not fail. The AI just does not have enough time to comprehend what is going on before they will lose all their cities. I've tested out a similar situation in wb and they just can't figure it.

Sorry you feel that way. I like a little healthy controversy - it makes us rethink our assumptions and helps us learn more about the game and its strategies. If there's anything we can do to continue to challenge each other while being more respectful, let us know.
