SGOTM 16 - U'nu'sual S'us'pec'ts

Ain't ain't a word cause ain't ain't in the dictionary. I grew up thinking it was normal to have rodeo on the big screen at dance clubs. My parents are square dancers in matching calico. And my girlfriend's dad is a championship bull rider. I, on the other hand, am an atheist, queer, vegetarian, animal rights activist and my next door neighbor is a legal medical marijuana grower. I belong in Portland.

I will vote in favor of the EP slider move if it lets you play today.

I'm glad you fit in. School must have been a whole bunch of fun for you....

OK, playing.

I had fun at school. Although to be fair, my school day involved playing lots of pool and table football :p

Is school prior to college a whole bunch of fun for anyone?

No.

According to Wikipedia Nacogdoches is home to Texas' largest Azalea garden.

What the hell is table football? Is it as weird as cricket?

I think the American term for it would be foozball.

Edit: Wikipedia says I am correct.

Foozeball is what Americans call it
And Cricket is awesome! Nothing weird about it :p Baseball on the other hand...

OK, summary of what happened.

1 turn on research & espionage:
- Hammy is researching Optics, he has 1 turn left on it. edit: He is now doing Engineering.
- Qin just finished Drama, and hasn't chosen his next tech yet. edit: Qin is researching Guilds!!!
- Gunpowder started at 0%

Firstly, it was my turn to make a mistake, sorry. I left the Maces in Vermalion healing for 1t instead of moving them to Camulodunum. This does mean they were almost fully healed when they did move. Because I didn't have enough cleanup troops, I bombarbed it for 1 turn reducing its defences to 0% with the treb/cat stack.

So, I then took it 1 turn later than the plan says, but with only 1 loss. (A mace at 99% odds ) We also picked up the 3 workers inside.

I also picked off the Celtic 3 unit ministack that was in no mans land, free xp really.

The Brennus stack is moving towards us, it could be going to either Bibracte, or Camulodunum.

There is lots of gpt available for trades, it all popped up this turn. Last turn there was none!

It has both.

After it got to Medic III, the next promotion for a non-fighting super medic should always be morale. It now has 3 movement, or 9 on roads!!!

OK, summary of what happened.

- Qin just finished Drama, and hasn't chosen his next tech yet. edit: Qin is researching Guilds!!!
- Gunpowder started at 0%

Fantastic. The EP invested were definitely worth it.

So, I then took it 1 turn later than the plan says, but with only 1 loss. (A mace at 99% odds ) We also picked up the 3 workers inside.

Excellent. I like how you highlighted the combat odds in the autolog. :) These things happen. The workers are a nice pick up. We have lots of Celtic lands to improve.

The Brennus stack is moving towards us, it could be going to either Bibracte, or Camulodunum.

Let them come. :trouble: :)

Ah, my bad! :) I'm playing on the 'non full screen' mode so didn't see the medic III underneath morale :)

Looks great, just think wheat would be better off working a plains farm rather than riverside grass.
Bibcarte should build Forge->Market->Two Temples (for Priest specialists in case we need to generate a GP for shrine)->CH

West Fish should take a cottage from Fake Humbaba instead of working the coast.

Why does Production have a cottage in its BFC that commerce can't steal?

Commerce, in 2 turns, it should work the plains hill in its BFC as the next tile.

Clams: Cottage instead of grassland mine, maybe?

Barb City: Not sure on the choice for a university but I guess we do need OU pretty quick.

Zhou is looking beautiful :D

West Coast Silk- Grassland hill instead of Silk? Reaching happy cap.

Rest seems good.

Well, to be honest, we already could see Qin's research. The EP invested were to see Hammy's research.

That's true, but I still really like being able to see what they are both researching.

Its much better for our Liberalism hunt.

Nicely done Neil! That looks good. This stack war is going to be EPIC!
Hell yeah. If we can attack them in the open, that would be ideal.

They all are good suggestions, I did check micro on the other turns, but not this turn yet, as the save is always well scrutinised after an upload.
