T97 max food (to size 7)
T98-101 run 5 specialists for 4t
This GP is probably going to start our GAge, so we don't care what it is.
What do you ya'all think about running 5 artists for 4 turns?
We lose 40 but gain 80 (earlier Wheat)
I think we would then have the wheat before Banking which is right when we want size 10+ cities.
Not sure if a couple extra food a half dozen turns sooner is worth 40b. Especially since we are tight with finishing Education.

It is a good thought, but then our 1st Great Person would be born in Canal.
I am also having trouble with the extra early Oxford.
Our slider is set turn run partial on T113 and then run out completely T114.
The earliest I can get the Moai cashed in is the movie playing and gold coming in T117 I think.
Oxford doesn't work at 0% slider.
Mirroguard is trying to get University started on T107. (Oxford online T111)
My slower attempt with more fail gold and Deer instead of Scientist in Silver City got University started T108. (Oxford online T112)
Both require 6 forests chops, or all the forests in the bottom left chopped. (1 is inside borders, 1 needs 5000 to be inside borders)
I too saw a natural 3 turns of 0% slider once we have Education and are building Oxford.
Here is the micro for cashing in Moai earliest as possible.
Profit City
Spoiler:
T97 - Lighthouse; Crab, Whale
T98 - Wealth; Crab, Whale
T99 - Moai Statues (goes to 64/250); Crab, Whale, Stone
T100 - T101 Confuscian Monastery; Crab, Whale, Stone
T102 - Anarchy
T103 - T104 Confu Monastery; Crab, Whale, Stone, Coast
T105 - 2-pop Whip Confu Monastery; Crab, Stone
T106 - Maoi Statues (goes to 140/250); Crab, Whale, Stone
T107 - Chariot; Crab, Whale, Stone
T108 - T110 Chariot; Crab, Whale, Stone, Coast
T111 - T112 Chariot; Crab, Whale, Stone, 2x Coast
T113 - Chariot; Crab, Whale, 3x Coast
T114 - 3-pop Whip Library and store in Queue, then 1-pop Chariot and produce; Crab, Whale
T115 - Produce Library; Crab, Whale
T116 - Moai Statues (goes to 261/250); Crab, Whale, Coast
T117 - $_$
Might even be able to strain 1 turn earlier now that I look.
T105 - work whale instead of stone
T100-T101 work chariot instead of monastery (monastery does not have Org. Religion yet)
T107 - T112 work coast instead of stone for a bit more food to reach Size 6 1 turn earlier
T114 - T116 work stone instead of whale
Anyway, due to the existence of the funding gap, I think T108 University does not lose to a much harder fought T107 University.
**Edit**
Ah, here it is

Oof, that is ugly not working 5 crab at the end.
The Chariot is only 12/30 when it is whipped on T113.
We can fit 2 more into Library. This might be a case where Warrior >>>> Chariot.
Can just work coast T107 - T112.

There, that should do it.
I'll stop for today, test game madness.
Speedy Monastery, speedy Library, garrison unit, all things we want to get marble faster.
Plus if Profit City gets big some day, 6 of our cities can have +3 trade routes instead of +2 trade routes.
Well. Here is what it takes to chop complete Oxford at T109.
in silver run 6 scientists at -1bpt T97~ T 101
give up the deer for coast T103~ T106
in science build a warrior at T101, OF into temple
T103~ T106 build temple,
run 1 scientist T105~ T107 at pop 9 to make sure uni gets to 42/200 at T108.
run 2 scientists in canal after it reaches pop 8 at T100
work all furs in cows after it reaches pop 7 at T103
whale city priortizes silver and fur except when building Moai.
chop both forest 3N1E 3S1E in border. any of the 3 outside border.
3 duns can still get to 48/50 by T104 for whipping.

Yes, Oxford can get done in 1 turn instead of 2 if we chop 3N1E.
Do we want to save that forest for later, or give it the old chopchop?
There is only a 0.1% chance each turn that it will grow a BFC forest on top of our hill for National Park.
Mirrorguard is moving heaven and earth to start Uni T107 for us.
I think we can get a lot more whips + fail gold in the long run by not working lots of fur tiles in Cow City and starting Uni T108.
Oxford will then take 2 turns to complete if we leave 3N1E alone, and will be chopped done on T111.
Ok, let's work a few artists in Canal as long as it does not mess up Great Scientist in Silver City.
(6 Scientists and no Deer then.)
Faster wheat is very nice.
If Sitting Bull takes our wheat, he might have to be removed at a later date depending on what he is teching for us.
Skipping the forest and possibly delaying Oxford to 110 might be fine.
That has nothing to do with starting a Uni on T107.
I feel like we should run at least 5 sci + 5 sci in Canal on T100 & 101 to get T107 Uni started.
If we have extra beakers, we can change those to Artists.
Don't forget, Canal does need the gpp before Banking anyway.
But Cows should not have to work Furs (except maybe the 1f-fur). It's only -2c each.
I realize the tundra hill fur is not necessary. In the test game I ran 2 scientists after education in science city to make sure uni has 42/200 before whipping. Those scientists can work before T106 to make up for the beaker loss.
If extra artists are added to canal, I think that will be enough to give up the plains hill fur.

I like the buildings queued for this city. Mon, Lib, Moai (+8 culture )
Anyone calculate when we get marble? We're gonna have to probably send 2 workers there cus we don't have a boat til later.
Whales will have to build Parthenon quickly. Would a forge be good here?
I usually build forges in most cities for games that go as long as this one will. I think they pay for themselves hammer wise. I normally don't worry about but in this game it will be a factor.
When do you think we'll get Aesthetics for the Parthenon?
