[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

T111 - Silver City (whip Courthouse T109 and put in queue, whip and produce monastery T109, produce courthouse T110, overflow waterfall lands in Moai T111)
(Next turnset). There's no reason to get quite this fancy and go down to size 4. Silver will be size 10.
109 whip2 Mon
(probably grow to size 9, or not, whatever)
110 whip4 CH (size 5)
111 Moai (size 6)

What's the hammers here?
22/60
7/120
Yes, it takes a while, but I was aiming for us to get both 22/60 and 7/120 and then double whipping with an almost full food bin from Size 9 down to Size 3. The city recovers very fast with the deer.
All the hammers squeeze into Maoi in 1 turn.

Uh, ya don't need to get that fancy I guess.

Impressive work, Kait. If you have kids, I bet you do their term papers and science projects for them. haha

In 50 words or less, what are the key differences between MG's and Kait's PPP? I looked at MG's in a bit of detail but I'm curious what the key changes were...

BTW, in general I like the PPP(s) and think we're on the right track. I think we're just fine-tuning things to eek out every last beaker, food and hammer from our empire. All good!

I really hope that we stop using the test game after this. If not, LC's head will explode since he's up next. He'd have to make multiple trips to DD to modify the PPP and test game, go to Kinko's/Fed Ex to print out the 50-page PPP and then play it all out. Let's save him the heart attack. :mischief: (actually, I just hope the test game is retired by the time it gets to my next turn but I want to pin it on LC)

 There is a bit of over-design.
what the key changes were...
Worker micro/more scientists to make up for the beaker bonus(one AI in test game has polytheism) in my test game/dun whip 1 turn earlier to skip a warrior should be less than 50 words

Spoiler Peter's Techs :

Finally, an AI with Alphabet. Too bad Pete and SB didn't meet, it would have simplified things. We want both Alphabet and Monarchy (we have wine) but not sure what would be best to trade for them.

Is the consensus that Pete won't trade IW until he meets another AI that also knows it?

Not a big deal but I thought we were hoping the SB would demand/beg for our fur.

We still have silver and Peter doesn't need it. I did the trade because SB's settler moved back to capital. If he settles south he will get his fur soon.

Alphabet! :D
Peter must have had Math already if he bulbed Alphabet.
Huh, he does not want our Polytheism either.
He already knew it?

Testing indicated Peter would only trade the basics if he knew no AI.
So we can get Monarchy and Alphabet for sure.

Iron Working should only be possible if the mapmaker granted Peter or Sitting Bull contact with the other AI, deleted the unit, then erased the map knowledge.

Hmm, I think we should trade Peter Code of Laws for Alphabet+map.
Then trade to get Sitting Bull's Monarchy+map.

Now we can start our Friendly Peter project.
I just had to have faith like WT said :)

He won't get Philo for a while so no chance he won't be joining us in Confu unless he beelines Theology.

I think we should gift Peter Meditation.
He already has Priesthood I think?

Once we have their maps, we should look for suspicious mines.
Peter might have Iron and already be plotting an invasion against Whale City since he is Cautious with us and has not met any other AI. (very tiny chance even with iron)
We can breathe easy once he meets Sitting Bull and we get our fist icon back.

We mighta got screwed by just a couple turns on that GS.
But then, he'd be Tao soon.

Who knows when/if SB will get one. He has no food.
Friendly Peter means Bureau. Anyone (else) think we should go all out?

We are still in caste!

CoL for Alpha,
CS for Monarchy,
Meditation (+currency+Mono?) for switch to Caste+Bureau
Peter changed over 5 turns ago to HR, so we can get another change.

Oh ya, we are still in Caste!

Let's trade Peter :D
Code of Laws for Alphabet
Civil Service for Monarchy

If Meditation + Currency is not enough to bribe Peter to switch both civics to Caste + Bureaucracy, then on T112 we can try Meditation + Currency + Monotheism + Map!

I don't recall the AI ever bulbing Alpha--maybe just cus the Deity AI gets alpha before a GS. Anyone look for an Academy? (whatever that looks like)
