[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

PR’s score graph

Are they running HR and spamming warriors? (Not Sushi cuz no sushi culture...)

Or simply teching so fast?

I want to draft there if we have the happies. We may only get 1 chance to draft. Saves 80:hammers: .
Sushi food is coming so cottages can get worked soon enough.
Our capital is extremely happy.
+10 :) with Barracks.

I never really wanted any cottages. They're nice in a golden age and at village/town, but that's 40 turns from now.
Might make use of the Biology farm for a bit.

If we are going to T220, we want those cottages.
+5:gold: plus bureau bonus plus tons of multipliers.

How about 2 cottages?
The farm 2W of capital stays irrigated, we don't need the tundra farm, and our worker can road forests sooner.

We could draft the capital 1 time without much pain.

Seems like they have to be cus I have not been able to figure out another reason for hi score. It can't be more wonders than us cus we have more culture, it can't be land--well maybe a few tiles, I hope it's not tech. So it must be population.
I'll be happy to see how HR performs. Hard to beat REP tho.

Does Peter lose TRs with SB when we DoW SB? Thus making Peter Engineering(7) dubious?

Peter’s tech rate got a big boost from OBs with SB.

Guys, before I continue, please verify you’re satisfied with our tech rate vis a vis the timing of getting Eng from Peter and getting Sushi on time.

We’ve been running fewer Scientists as we complete GPs.

Yes, our DOW would sever the trade routes between Peter and Sitting Bull.

Let me calculate, one second.

2696/3120:science: Constitution
1707/2496:science: Printing Press
2496:science: Corporation
2184:science: Liberalism

We are currently teching Constitution -> Corporation

Those are the 4 techs we can put our science slider into before we need Engineering.
We only want to complete some of Liberalism. Perhaps 2184 - 200:science:

That means we want roughly 5893 - 200 = 5693:science: before making the trade with Peter.
Divide by 1.2 which is 5693 / 1.2 = 4745:science: RAW

We are doing 636:science: RAW per turn right now.

4745 / 636 = 7.46 turns.

Peter might have Engineering for us in 7 turns.

Ya, we should try to keep 100% science slider as LtC has been trying hard to do. :goodjob:

Kait will bribe Peter to DOW on SB first. Once we are in free market, Peter will have TRs with us.
Okay. We can sic Peter on SB any turn in that case.

For Music+Nationalism, we can get

Peter DoW SB
Adopt Mercantilism
Adopt Castes

That serves the purpose of helping Peter with his economy to tech Engineering(7) and hopefully slows SB Feud(4) down.

But will the DoW cause SB to make more units?

We could just trade peter Music for
Adopt Mercantilism
Adopt Castes.

Then sic him on SB when we’re ready. Costs us an extra tech to Peter.

Bribing Peter to change civics will cause 1 turn of Anarchy slowing down Eng. 1 turn for sure.

SB make more units?
I'm not sure.

I think I prefer to bribe Peter to DOW right after we bribe SB into Nationhood and right before we DOW.

Technically, we could trade SB
T145 CS
T146 Nat

Right? Trying to figure out if there’s a pressing reason sooner.

Civil Service for gold before our trade mission is a decent reason.

Stop work on the 2N workshop and go to 2N1E. Those workers can finish it on the way back to Science for preserves
