Meeting an AI would be the goal, and the chariot will spot a wb (but keep exploring)
Opening up trade resources will just have to wait.
That sounds fine to me. We could figure out how to build an exploring galley (or wb) after the next handful of turns (i.e. the next turnset).
 
The fact that SB doesn't appear to have met another AI based on his :espionage: spending on us makes me think that it's not a land bridge but requires a boat.
for the umpteenth time, Dan F5771 says the code does not require an AI to put eps on others he has met.
 
Well, we could send our workboat near clams to explore.

The 30 hammer overflow in canal from worker whip can be turned into a replacement workboat instead of 60:gold:

A bit expensive, but if fast exploring is a priority...

It also allows our galley to remain committed to warrior transfer and fast Confu spread to Peter.

Agreed. I guess I don't pay that close attention but normally once an AI gets "ahead" in its EP spending on you it normally distributes them but that's anecdotal and not based on empirical evidence.

Wait, Clam City nets on T88.
It needs to reach size 4 on T90.

I think Clam City can whip lighthouse on T91, not T90
Then whip a workboat for itself T93.
Then whip a workboat for Canal T95.
It won't arrive till T99, but oh well.

So maybe send the workboat to explore now on T81 instead of waiting to net seafood for Clam City on T88.

Mitchums city builds can all stay the same.

Right, but the chariot can just play lookout.
I suppose the wb could get us resource trades.
But I say we net our last seafoods and then go exploring. We're so close to having our empire firing on all cylinders.

Forget the worker for now, maybe forever...

Of all the options (other that skipping boats) maybe Canal's 3rd seafood is not needed yet. +9 food is plenty to work with.

We've already put 10H into the worker. But in any event, is this the agreed plan to whip a wb next turn? Sounds like WT and LC are on board (pun intended).

Oooh, no. I meant I might be ok with a T94 wb or redirecting Canal's 3rd wb.
Canal can only get good OF quickly from food. Hence the worker---and why I didn't complain about it. (edit: much)

Mids failgold has to last a long time. Stick with the plan.

Seems like Whales settler stared at the NW island for a long time, and we didn't panic and sail over there.
How hard are we pushing for this new, more-out-of-the-way island hop? Did we not anticipate spotting an island with our chariot?

The galley will clear a water path even if the scout doesn't but I feel ya.

Out of curiosity, would the fogged tile at scout-3E1S prevent a trade route? Or does the trade route algorithm traverse past that tile Diagon Ally?
