That is crazy!
With 76:culture: Profit City should never get the option to Liberate to another civ.

One-City-Challenge setting must be mucking up the formulas? :hmm:

Ya, Holy Roman Empire might be somewhat close to Profit City, but all we really know for sure is that they are in our game.
The formulas are too messed up to tell if Charlemagne's capital really is close to Profit City.

SB maxes out at +3 shared religion.
Not saying we do, but if we took Confu, it take only 20 turns to max that out, right?

Did you uncheck advisor pop-up?

Did you uncheck advisor pop-up?
I did on my daily computer but I didn't on my old Windows XP machine which I'm using for Civ until I can figure out why my new computer is being flaky. Popups like this are a reason to keep the advisor pop-up I guess. You can get some good information this way.

Ya, 20 turns to max out.

We are currently +3 Cautious with Sitting Bull.
Normally Pleased is +3 and Friendly is +10, but we have at least one -1 negmod with SB.
Maybe we are -2 and need +5 to get Pleased?

+4 fair trade and +3 religion will not get us to Friendly with Sitting Bull.

We need the +1 Open Borders which we won't get once we close borders.
+1 from giving into SB's demand to change religion might get us to Friendly if Sitting Bull demanded it. :)

+2 resource trades is gonna be tough with Peter. We gotta get him a Fur and ?Sheep?

We actually have health problems with Silver City trying to get to Size 9.
Might be able to gift sheep to Peter now and trade deer to SB for rice, but I am not sure.
Then gift Peter rice once we hook it up.
We need the Cow on T96 for ourselves.
Fur is everywhere hmm.

Turnset Report (T82 to T85)

Continuing turnset report from here.

T82
Dang, it looks like Peter's wb is taking the northern route. He's now at Whales-NW.

Cahokia - 3 pops - 38:hammers: +9
Poverty Point - 4 pops - done, finished something worth between 40 and 41:hammers:
Mound City - 2 pops - 18:hammers: +4

Peter: 25:espionage: +5

Land Area: 21K (Rival Worst)

T83
We see SB's galley at Poverty Point-2W1N. That is what he finished last turn.
Peter's wb continues to scout the north shore. :( He'll hit a dead end in 3 turns and then turn around.
I see red culture in the fog in the NW. We should open up a trade network with Peter next turn!
It's going to take the chariot some time to check if a land bridge exists:
Spoiler :
civ4screenshot0088-jpg.559277

Cahokia - 3 pops - 67:hammers: +29 (+9 and a pre-Math chop)
Poverty Point - 4 pops - 7:hammers:
Mound City - 2 pops - 22:hammers: +4

Peter: 30:espionage: +5

Land Area: 23K (Rival Worst) - It just went up 2K. What does this mean, LC?

T84
Mysteriously, Peter's wb turned around and went into Whales. Do you think the AI wb's have sight for 6 tiles and he saw the ice blockage ahead? ;)
Our scout has uncovered some of Peter's culture but I don't see a city yet. I see a settler protected by a chariot though.
We can trade resources with Peter. He has nothing to offer but wants stone and fur (he has horse, clam, crab, deer and silver).
The exploring wb is costing us +1 gpt. I'll add it to LC's bill.

Cahokia - 2 pops - Just produced something by whipping. Must be a settler.
Poverty Point - 4 pops - 13:hammers:
+6Mound City - 1 pop - Just produced something by whipping.

Peter: 35:espionage: +5

Land Area: 23K (Rival Worst)

T85
Confucianism has spread to Mound City.
We find out the Charlemagne from the Holy Roman Empire is in the game. The citizens in Canal want to join him.
We now have TRs with 4 of Peter's cities.
SB's galley sailed through Canal and is exploring south.
Peter's wb is headed along our south shore! SB's closest scout is at Cows-2S.

Great Work Mitchum! :D
You got us a hint about a 3rd civ without giving away a city (game over), connected us with Peter, and avoided a disastrous road connected to Cow City.

Good work on getting 2 Confu spreads too.

I'm going to fully scout with the chariot.
Our wb will already reach beyond the strait (BtS) on my turnset and spot any wbs on the north shore, so maybe I can catch a wb that sailed south earlier and is now east of SB.

Might be able to gift sheep to Peter now and trade deer to SB for rice,
In a custom game I played last week, I had 2 roaded pigs and 1 stone. I traded 1st pig for something and used 2nd pig+ stone for dun-whip-stone-giftp trick. When I pillaged 1 pig, it was the pig trade not the stone-pig gift which got canceled.
