It's time to workshop! After doing his GS duty, Clams can work 6 hpt workshops (during end of GAge) 5 with caste, 4h in slavery.

I suppose this is a good idea, but don't get your heart set on a trade mission. We need to start 2nd GAge, so unless we get Spy and Prophet, there won't likely be a trade mission.Working 8 merchants would be +24per turn and would help keep our slider up.
Drafting Muskets between golden ages to farm xp from Sitting Bull to get Heroic Epic and West Point unlocked would be really nice. (Free Combat 1 for being Aggressive Civ)missionary + chop

Besides the pop loss, tho, we also lose the 8th turn of the GAge for GP farming. But are we putting too much into farming? We'll be doing 900+ bpt.
Some of our GP farms will be done or finishing and can afford a pop loss.

I never drafted musketman before, only rifleman. Police state+ slavery+ vassalage might be another option.
