French conspiracy theorists have noticed the random assortment of small nations all uncharacteristically attempting to rile up trouble with their respective neighbors at the same time and suspect that a secret Illuminati-like force is connected to all these events and is attempting to cause chaos amongst the greater nations.

Turkey wonders which ones among the 22 republics and 10 autonomous regions within the Russian Federation would like to be independent, to which Moscow obviously has no objection...unless this is a ploy for Russia to acquire territory illegally from their sovereign neighbors.

We will seek compensation from Russian Federation if any harm or interruption comes from Russian military operations to the Baku-Tblisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and/or Baku-Tblisi-Erzurum gas pipeline. (ooc@sheep: would Azerbaijan like to put a similar declaration - These are their main outlets)

OOC: I warned everybody that all of you were setting a dangerous precedent when you recognized the independance of Taiwan because it can be used by others in situaitons you would not like. Nobody listened to me, now you have to live with it.

OOC: Not like there is much to do. Modern NESes with the UN and other shenanigans are to stiff to be fun.

OOC: I would disagree significantly on that one, I had a lot of fun in Goober's NES.

OOC: Well yes, but that was a post nuclear exchange game. All rules were off in the first ten turns and even later the chance and opportunity for military interventions were high and fun. You could do a lot of stuff.

What can you really do here? Nothing. In GoobNES you had a good freedom of action.

OOC: I am having fun - running 7 projects, and going into 3 more this turn.

There are stuff going on, we already lost 5 entities (Colombia, Togo, Transsinistra, TRNC, Belorussia) and added one (West Papua). The world briefly contemplated ww3 over Taiwan, and Russia is already at war. Who knows what Spain and Morocco will do next.

Amonic Hindu radicals take over India

"Amon is the incarnation of Ghandi! He led us to our independance in his last life, he will lead us to greatness in this life!" says one of Amon's followers in Injuh.

Not much has been said about India in the past 20 years. They have been hiding behind the scenes throughout much of this period.Even more behind the scenes has been the rapid growth of the Amonic party in society. Ever since he was 12 years old he has been committed to performing miracles for the masses. Healing the blind, fertilising the infertile, and surviving 7 attempts by unbelievers to kill him are just a couple of the amazing feats that this young man has done to become a household name for the injuns.

Amon at age 19 began to look outward towards the world. Seeing that it was in much turmoil, he began to wonder what he could do to impact more than his homeland. He wanted to bring light to the dark parts of the world. He wanted to make sure his people would never have to live in fear of terrorists or domination by superpowers. He wanted his country to live in the same status as the other great powers.... He turned to politics.

Now, age 23, 4 years in the planning and campaigning have come to the result that he has wanted. He is now the president of India, and has vowed in his coronation to "Provide leadership for the development of my great country of India to the next age."

The people are ecstatic. They could have wished for nothing less. The reincarnation of India's father as the leader of India. We shall see how he does in the years to come.
