SheepNES: Modern Battlefields: MAIN THREAD

I never rejoice when someone leaves a country, and to think if you actually used diplomacy...

Well was largely ignored in the EU thread which is the only possible diplomacy I really could do. So pahf!

Ah well suit yourself, but this will be an eventful update.

As I said I will still be watching.

Announcement "The Kingdom of the Netherlands officially announces that it has traded the Isle of Rottumerplaat for Barren Island with the Republic of India" End Announcement

India agrees to the anouncement, and hereby proclaims that the country of India is now to be called "Rottumerplaat", and the administrative capitol of this new country is to be moved to the newly aquired province at once.

The Parliament of the Netherlands rejects this trade and nullifies it.

i believe the parliament of the netherlands does not have the power to do so, the Queen could veto it, but would also have to disband the cabinet and the upper house of representative. it has never happened.

Edit, And since Rottumerplaat is an uninhabited island, off the coast of the netherlands and not acessible to the public i doubt that she would cause a national crisis of unprecedented proportions

Well, Sheep has made it clear that for the nation of India to trade an island with the nation of Netherlands would mean that our governments would be overthrown.

I remember way back when, when a player could turn a NES into a colorful piece of art, by being whatever style of ruler he wished. For it is that players country from the time he takes over to the time he quits, and can do whatever he or she wishes with it, through story, diplomacy, and orders. He was in control of every aspect of his country, including popular oppinion, and parliament.

I must resign my position as India due to too much moderation control of his country. This player no longer believes that this NES is a conglameration of players, rather...A conglameration of countries that are doing the will of the mod.

I wish this NES the best, even though it looks like it will keep on going down the same boring path that almost every modern day NES goes.

Goodbye.

ooc I have said before how this nes shouldn't be a super realistic nes. But what you two are doing is totally unrealistic and that goes for you both

Ah Amon... i remember those days too *wipes a tear away*

Have the same thoughts sometimes.

OOC: If this NES won't have some resemblance of reality, what's the point of playing it on the real world map with simulations of actual countries?

Am I wrong to assume players represent governments that has to act "in character" with their nation, not god-kings that do whatever weirdness they wish and still get unquestioning obedience of their populace? I think Sheep's meddling (for the lack of a better word) is just the right amount.

sheep u got my orders, right

Orders sent.

Amon, what you fail to understand is that this update is going to be the most eventful yet. Just because I wont let you trade two friggin islands doesnt mean anything to be honest. Get over it, and I hope you reconsider.

I have your order wubba.

8 hours remain
