Back a few days, some citizens wanted to uncover the north jungle black area. Maybe we could take TheHolyDuckPond's horsies to go upthere just to take a look at the beach and confirm there's nothing further. See screenshot on this link :

Yes we might as well but I think that the size of the island means that we should research map making soon.

This Colonist feels that we should just run over it when we have a ship sailing. I will personally stare from the trireme and see what's there, which I doubt is much. :crazyeyes
