Breaking News: Russia declares Emergency!

This is Kent Brockman Tachyon News today we have here a speech by the Russian Regent:

"People of Russia! The victory against the Nazis who seeked to annihalate Mother Russia two generations ago was met with defeat in the face of a united people under a strong, determined and most important of all a united leadership! In these days the Russian state has once again come under attack. This time it is a war of terrorism waged by Djihadists and assasins who seek to destroy the Democratic Empire of Russia! For the time of emergency the Duma will be reduced to the position of an advisory board and complete, unlimited power will be concentrated in the Regent. This power will be used to ensure the survival of the Democratic Russian Empire and spending, the economy will not suffer from it. I promise that under my leadership, Russia's wealth will multiply by two!"

This has proven it the Russian Regent is insane. He seems to be raving about Nazis whatever they are. This event is most disturbing, most extremely disturbing. The economy has been mobilized for wartime however many Russians simply refused to work calling this mobilization insane and unnecessary. The Russian people of course oppose this move disliking the fact the Regent has so much power and has done this. There have been peaceful protests in Moscow, and St. Petersburg with people waving signs saying, “make love not war!” However if some action is not taken they may not remain peaceful for long.

Breaking News: Russian invades Kurdistan

Many had suspicions that the Russian Regent would do this. Well he has. A massive Russian army charged into Kurdistan using their sheer weight of numbers to crush the Kurds. Having lacked a independent nation for thousands of years the Kurds were not about to give up without a fight. In the end however it was all for naught as the sheer size, technological superiority and training of Russian armies overwhelmed them.

Guerilla Warfare in Persia

The Russian army has also heavily reinforces Persia with an oppressive military presence of 50 divisions has been deployed there. Yet despite this acts of violence continue to occur. Bomb blasts, gun battles in the streets, recently a Tachyon reporter Dan Brown was held hostage but fortunately released once they realized he was not Russian. Russian citizens are being kidnapped and beheaded the streets of Persia are no longer safe.

War of the Words

The verbal fighting is as fierce as the actual fighting itself. The Russian and UIC diplomats have been exchanging angry and hostile words. Ever since the Russian invasion of Kurdistan there has been a high degree of tension. The UIC is on full-scale military mobilization and a high level of readiness for a Russian invasion. Things are extremely tense and we will have to wait and see what happens.

Breaking News: Russian Bombs UIC!

Russian planes started a large scale bombing campagain of the UIC. Military targets and factories were struck however the UIC was expecting this sort of assault and sent up its air force to contend with the Russians. The Russians may have had numbers and technology on their side but the UIC pilots had sheer fanaticism. Massive air battles were fought when the UIC planes ran out of ammunition they simply rammed their planes into the Russians.

As these air battles were being fought the Russian Navy began attacking UIC oil supplies. UIC battleships and Destroyers began naval engagements. Sometimes small motorboats packed with explosives were rammed into the sides of Russian ships. The fighting was fierce and without quarter. But in the end the UIC forces were annihilated but not before taking many Russians with them.

These air and naval battles were followed by a massive land invasion of the UIC.

Russian Provinces Revolt!

Chechnya, Persia, Afghanistan, Central Asia, Xijiang all rose up to the call of Islamic Revolution.

Apparently Aythollah Khameni had been in the rural areas of Pakistan gathering support and he made his move now. Large amounts of insurgents crossed into Afghanistan and Persia where they began a high intensity guerilla war against the Russians.

More than half of Afghanistan has joined their cause. Hiding in caves and launching hit and run attacks against Russian forces they have been very successful.

In Persia a massive string of suicide bombings have occurred. Explosions rip through Russian military bases and barracks on an almost daily basis and each time hundreds of Russian soldiers are killed.

All across Central Asia people revolted. Running gun battles were fought in the streets of major cities as they fought to expel the Russians. Russian citizens found anywhere were massacred and their homes sacked. The fighting has been bloody and brutal. War in the UIC

The massive Russian army began advancing into the UIC and began crossing the Euphrates. All along they were subjected to guerilla and partisan attacks.

A group calling itself the Taliban has also begun operation in Russian occupied territory. Lead by a man from the Arabian Peninsula. Osama Bin Laden they have been responsible for many attacks against Russian forces.

The UIC forces entrenched themselves deeply as the Russians advanced and forced them to pay for in blood for every inch of land they took. Every city became a nightmare of urban warfare.

The Russian offensive pushed all the way to the Tigris taking with it the capital Baghdad but they paid for it dearly. The fighting was bloody and Osama Bin Laden has been calling for “all good Muslims to rise up and fight the Russian infidels!” Many have answered his calls and large-scale revolts have begun in occupied parts of the UIC.

Bomb Blasts at Russian Embassies

The Russian embassy in Cairo was sacked as the enraged populace vented their anger against the Russians, in the SFPJ a truck bomb blew up outside the embassy killing hundreds inside, in India Bombay a suicide bombe blew himself up at the gate killing dozens. In Turkey a van drove through the gate before detonating, once again hundreds were killed.
In the Russian provinces bombings are become commonplace as well as gunfights. The insurgency and rebellions are spreading. The economy and confidence of the Russian people is badly damaged as they see what is happening thanks to news stations such as ours.

Terrorist Attack Continue

Almost daily attacks are carried out against the Russian military. The Taliban take Russian soldiers hostage and then send grainy videotapes to us showing them beheading the soldiers. The frequency of attacks has drastically increased, as have protests against the war. The Russian people are demanding the Duma be given back full power and the Regent impeached. Quebec Citizens Smartest

It is quite possible that the citizens of Quebec may be the most intelligent in the world. Two massive universities that can hold 40,000 students jointly. One is national the other is international these are world class universities rivaling the best in the world.

Privacy Problems over CCTV Cameras?

A large amount of CCTV cameras has been installed into Quebec this has been very useful for cutting down crime and major crimes are being cracked down on. However some people have been complaining that it is their invasion of privacy. However their arguments have mostly gone unheeded and they have been some demonstrations recently. But most people seem content with the cameras.
