Well, if your goal is to help the insane Sultans of Castile, that is finally over.

If your goal is the conquest of France, then I can only smile and shake my head. Your great great great forefathers tried once. They tried when Islam from the Pyrenees all the way to the Indus was unified. They tried while France was at war with itself, between the Franks and the Aquitaine and the Brittanics and Provencials and Burgundians and Basques. And yet we, divided, defeated you, united. How can you hope that you now, divided, can defeat us, united?

From the very beginning, the HRE was based on peaceful conversion and defense of Catholicism and Christianity. Nothing more or less. You have forced us to defend ourselves, you and the oath-breaking former-sultans of Castile, and the warmongering Badajoz and other states, many of whom saw reason and begun negotiating peace.

Secondly, endless war bring nothing but misery at home and hell abroad. In every war there are objectives, goals, and hopes. You grab what you can and get out, and prepare for the next war in 20, 50, or hundred years. Glory is had for all, loot is shared, and within a few seasons you share mead with your once enemy and tell tales of bravery on the battle field. My objective is nothing less than the protection of our nations, our peoples, our beliefs and our faith. This necessarily puts the onus on the aggressors to meet their limits and call for peace.

Your foolish justifications mean nothing to me. If you do not soon beg for peace, Venice will burn to the ground. It's women will be ravaged by my men, then my men's horses will have a turn with them, then they will be fed to the dogs, all while their husbands watch. The men will then be sodomised by spike maces and thrown into the sea. The whole of the eastern italian coast will be drenched with the blood of venetians.
 
How far the spenders of "Rome" have fallen, so that even they threaten to partake in barbaric acts they themselves forsook long before The Year of Our Lord.

We have held Azerbaijan for some time now. The people there accept our rule as legitimate and useful. Our lands may be many, but what do we have to fear? To the west and east, we have Muslim allies. As you can see, we do not engage in the petty infighting that seems to dominate Christian Europe, with the exception of the Omani and Yemeni rebels. To the south, the Guptas' holdings are unstable and of no real threat to us, and in the north, there is your kingdom. We are not overextended, so we see no reason to grant you rule over these Abbasid people.
 
OOC: What are the benefits of changing your government system, say, from despotic monarchy to feudal monarchy? Also, SouthernKing, I'm still waiting for the Fatimid response so I can conduct further diplomacy and do my orders.

That wall was a wall to be built on the north banks of the Volga and Don Rivers. You said it would cost 5 EP. Also, I'm pretty sure I sent some troops to colonize Lewis and Harris? Help would be nice.
