SKNES: Architecture of Aggression

To: The Kingdom of Axum
From: King Faraz of Armenia

Seeing as my generals failed miserably at following orders in the previous years, I would be honored to join your fight. However, there are less ends that must be cut in my own lands before I can provide assistance.

to Axum:
from Pope

We have not spoken much, and probably won't in the future. But keep in mind. Armenia are evil snake backstabbers. Do not trust ANYTHING they are saying.

To the Pope

The tainted family of Moszes has been cast into the fires of Hell to be replaced with fresh blood. Could you not have hope that the mere ground of Armenia itself isn't tainted?

OOC: Of course, in my NES Armenia is literally Hell for a certain religion. :)

I would love to make peace with the Fatimids. It would be much better for pretty much everyone. But no, they have to be greedy and take over everything they can get their hands on. Then, like Terrance888 said, they get defeated and ask their powerful friends (the Zengid Emirate and the Abbasid Caliphate) to help.

From: The Kingdom of Axum
To: The Kingdom of Armenia

We thank you for your help in our time of need. We will certainly repay you someday.

From: The Kingdom of Axum
To: The Holy Roman Empire, The Papal States

You have admitted that the Fatimids have made many mistakes, all based purely off of the greed of the Fatimid caliph. Although military aid is preferred, we ask that you at least pressure him to make peace with us.

From Aquitaine
Concerning the Nilotic War

As of now, unless overruled by the Pope or the Holy Roman Emperor, the Electorate of Aquitaine must notify that it is official neutral in this conflict and that her assets be respected by the militaries of these two nations. Any volunteer to this conflict of either side will be allowed to go, along with anything they bring with them, and be considered nuetral unless they actively pose themselves as hostiles or march under the banner of the enemy of either side.

Tampering with the property of Aquitaine people or merchants there with no reason (hostility or marching under arms of the enemy) will result in denouncement or even warfare. Respect our neutrality and we will remain aloof from intervention.

Personally, the Fatamids should realize the kind of person they currently have as Caliph and offer a more suitable person onto the seat who is not as deluded as a Castilian King or an Armenian Snake.

The Final Word of the Tagrabunti

Armenia's word was still untrusted, despite the Tagrabunti's long removal from the throne. King Faraz would do something to change that. He decided extreme measures would be necessary. So he sent the order.

The Tagrabunti may have lost its royal power, but it was still wealthy and feared. More than a dozen of the remaining family members still resided in their ancestral clan house located in Baku, Azerbaijan. But one day soldiers stormed in. The family members were grabbed and thrown into chains. They were then shipped to Yerevan.

Accused of treason, all members of the Tagrabunti dynasty were gathered up from around the kingdom, and sent to the Royal Palace at Yerevan. There, they were accused of working with traitors to the throne, and following heresies against God's will, so they were all sentenced with execution. The men and women were simply beheaded. Young boys were tied to four horses who would all be sent in different directions, tearing the youths into quarters, young girls were burnt alive, and babes were thrown in the nearby river and drowned. The man overseeing this whole sordid affair was the marshal, Vordin atelut'Yan. And he laughed. But this was not all Faraz would do, to change Armenia's reputation.

OOC: Yikes. Did you have to describe it so much?

(Ooc: for some reason, my computer has been refusing to load cfc for a little while now, so I may miss this turn's orders. However, I would like to request that I have my original position as Sicily back. Abbasids are in a good position, but I've put too much effort into my little island to let it go like that.)

It's not just you, everyone is having that problem.
Ok, you are now Sicily.

Can I protest? I just removed his regime and replaced it.

Why? This time he will have to play on your side, and SK can veto moves which your agents will detect that are against him, and which would be OOC for a Byzantine puppet state. Unless you have a personal dislike for mythmonster2, there should be no reason for you to protest him playing as the pro-Byzantine regime instead of the anti-War regime.

He already tried playing a pro-byzantine regime. All I'm saying is that the new ruler should be of my choosing because my armies control the place, and a good part of the nobility has been replaced with Byzantines loyal to the Emperor. I do not choose mythmonster, as he's too independent minded to be a loyal servant to the Byzantine Empire.

@DC
OOC: You should see my Lovecraftian horror writing...that was soft for me. And besides, what better way to show you dont approve of all the tolerant silliness of an old regime than to massacre the entire family brutally?

OOC: Oh jeez. And I have you, Tycho, Gemhound, Eltain, and Lord of Elves of all people in one small region in my NES.

*facepalm*

OOC: I know right? Their poor, virgin, reading abilities, corrupted by my not that brutal writing. Read some Lovecraft. Play some Call of Cthulhu. That's what is ACTUALLY brutal. And the other stuff I mentioned is mostly just going to be government and church reforms, to suit the new regime.

(OOC: I'm honestly not sure if you're being serious there. Just because I played an independent Sicily before doesn't mean I will now. I'm not the government of Sicily; I merely play it. And I can just as easily play a loyal, dependent vassal as I can a free state.)

Hey, SK? I just realized that my literacy seems to have dropped back down again...?

Hmm...that's odd. I'll take a look at it. Off the top of my head it should be 17 or 18 at this point.

Also, I figured I'd announce this:

On June 7 I'll be leaving for India for 3 weeks give or take a few days. I'll be able to do Update 7 this weekend/early week, but after that, due to the fact my internet access capability will be sporadic at best, I won't be able to mod this NES while I'm there.
Therefore, after update 7 this NES will likely go on hiatus. I am aware that "on hiatus" usually means "dead but the mod doesn't want to say it's dead." I would love to see this continue.
However, there is another NES I've been working on, that is a mid-19th century NES. I'll reveal more details later. I'll leave it to popular opinion as to which one I should mod after I return to the states the last week of June.
This has been a fun experience, and if y'all want it to continue I can.
