Small Observations General Thread (things not worth separate threads)

Man, the "IP" terminology is really going to take some getting used to for me.
I know, but's so awkward to type out Indepdendent People all the time, and Indie Peeps or whatever doesn't feel right.

I have some concerns about the UI. It seems like an easy thing to fix, but it could use a lot of polishing and seems rushed.

Ah ok, what thread was it
Don't recall, but it was from the boesthius stream. Here's the relevant bit:

Wow. Emile Bell gives you a Diplomatic Endeavor. The only thing Taco Bell ever gives me is gas.

Oh gosh this gonna be big, doing all the IP's saw since the review videos (that I saw) came out, so if anyone saw any other IP beyond these, please tell us here

Magadha - ?

That's a strange one. The Mauryans were just the most successful dynasty of the Magadha Empire, but the region is also its own people in the game?

Napoleon's Revolutionary persona has changed from +1 Movement for Commanders to all Units (2K site still lists original UA). We also have confirmation that this persona's Attributes are Cultural and Militaristic.

And the Emperor persona has another small, but previously unrevealed, perk: Can reject Endeavors for Free. Personas here are Diplomatic and Economic.

Him and Machiavelli can have a love-hate relationship (they love how much they hate each other)

Posted in another thread, but makes sense here as well:

Leave it to China (and a bit of Japan) to not give a damn about NDAs:

Himiko (Queen of Wa)

Diplomatic, Scientific

Receive unique Diplomatic Endeavor "Ruler of Wa, Friend of Wei": can be initiated when in an Alliance, grants +25% science to both you and your ally.
+4 Science for each leader with the relationship of "Friendly" or "Helpful" with you, increases with Age.
Can support Diplomatic Endeavors for free.

Unlocks Meiji Japan in the Modern Age.

Level 2 Memento: "Golden Seal of the Wei Tributary"
A gift from the emperor.
+1 Influence on science buildings, increases with Age.

Here we see that Himiko's "historical"/"preferred"/"strategic" choices (the Japanese says "strategic") are Khmer and Mississippi.

Mississippi unlocks Shawnee, Hawaii, and Inca.

If anyone is fluent in Japanese, here's the Famitsu article: https://www.famitsu.com/article/202501/30396
