Grrr... what did you say?

Spoiler :

Screw it, I'm in. I'm gonna read up and remember myself the rules.

it is called getting into character! if this is spam you have never visited OT. what was this? 5 posts with images and attitudes/background info (in my case) on topic? yeah, might not want to click any OT thread containing the word religion or Obama. just a friendly advice...

Moderator Action: PDMA and this isn't OT.
Please read the forum rules: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=422889

Whoops, sorry Methos :p

Two more down, only two to go!

Azale, great to have you back in the asylum! And Love, I think the Devout fits your login name quite well. :D

Here, a sample character starting PM I wrote up, just so you know what you can expect:
Door Salesman
Player: Niklas
Race: Human
Nation: Balseraph
Alignment: :satan:

You're Hell's sharpest tool, spreading your evil and corruption wherever you appear. It doesn't matter how fast they try to close the door (xMovement), your foot is quicker (+Movement). You're an expert at making people sign things they would never dream of looking at otherwise (+Mind), partly because you know how to focus on just the right things (+Distraction), and partly because your treaties always look that much better until the point the door closes again (+Illusion). And of course, selling your soul to demons is a job requirement (+Profane). Steel-plated doors (xArmor), people pretending not to be home (xStealth), or even those fools that try to come with excuses (xDistraction), you've seen it all and know how to tackle it. The easiest victims are those trusty religious types (xDivine), while other servants of hell generally see through your tricks (-Profane). There are some who are trained to be wary of you (-Alertness), and some that even grab the pitchfork (-Reach) or water hose (-Ranged) if they see you coming. And the worst of all are the ones that send their horde of kids (-Synergy) on you...

Spoiler Stats :
+Mind +Profane +Illusion +Distraction +Movement
-Alertness -Profane -Synergy -Ranged -Reach
xStealth xDivine xArmor xMovement xDistraction

Special power: Buy their soul. If you can get someone to send me a PM stating that they agree to something, anything, doesn't matter at all what that something is, from that point on their vote will always count as "Support Door Salesman" up to the point where you (or they) die. Note that they will probably sooner or later become alerted to what it was they actually signed, and are free to act however they like based on that.
Note that sides - innocent or mark - won't be mentioned in the starting PMs at all, but will come in a separate PM to those concerned.

:rotfl:

I love it.

Just to make sure I got the rules right.

When in a fight each +nnnn gives me a point.
If the enemy has -nnnn it gives me more than one point
If the enemy has xnnnn it gives me negative points?

If I don't have +nnnn than any -nnnn or xnnnn the enemy might have are ignored?

You're right in principle. I haven't yet decided on a) what numbers to actually use, even though I have a pretty good idea, and b) whether to publically announce what the numbers are.

I was only interested in the principle.

Looked it over, realized I have enough time for this game, in fact. I suppose I will take the knight! For order, justice, and all things good!
