SNES: Absolution III

Druids furthered their colonial ambitions, ignoring the war that ravages the Mediterranean. The colonization by non-Druids is strictly outlawed, but governors in Quebec note that it is possible that many Anglish might be somehow evading this law.

-

The Comanche build the magnificent city of Lakota where the Mississippi meets the Gulf of Mexico.

-

Druidism spreads rapidly.

-

Private expeditions from Druid Sicily raid and burn coastal towns of Gallic Naples.

-

Odolism wiped from Nippon.

-

Piracy rampant in the Mediterranean as captains often leave the fleet to join the pirates, the eastern Mediterranean trade has collapsed to the pirates, the west has scattered pirates, but the fleet of Lyons keeps it rather down.

Scandinavia was threatened and paid off by the Mycenaeans to leave the Med and to join the war on the other side, few kings would have dared do it, but Ragnar the Cruel did, inciting the wrath of his people who very much hate the Mycenaeans.

The Scandinavian ships pillaged the Semerian lands, and kept no land, the economy fell.

Gallic troops broke through with massive reinforcements when the Semerian generals chose to only lightly defend the north.

The second Semerian capital was razed to the ground by Mycenaean troops and they advanced even further.

Massive organized resistance in the Mycenaean held lands in Semeria.

A few Ajaj ‘flameslingers’ (an experimental ship) burned themselves to the water as they attacked Cyprus, before they realized that the Vikings had left. The dedication to sending their new heavy chariots, though, meant that they could not get so many troops to Athens.

In Greece German troops managed to successfully trick the allied army to the South to drink German beers (they claimed it a gift for Aleksandre) and in the next morning’s hangover Macedonian and German troops forced the allied troops back. A few bold charges were made against flanks by Heavy Chariots were successful, but there were not enough chariots to carry the advance.

In the northern German islands the Velikoslavians made their first strike, and it was quite a success thanks to the light German defenses, however this was bittered by the loss of several prize horses in a storm, many of the horses became deathly ill or fell overboard after a strong storm in the Baltic sea.

They still managed on to Copenhagen, and the main force then poured in from the East, and the Steppe Cavalry ruled the battlefield. They nearly reached Berlin, and that was certainly their hope, but they didn’t quite make it.

Asia

Third Turn of Hostilities

The Nipponese hammered the Markadians, despite Ghandan reinforcements. The Ghandans also invaded the Chinese after a forced march. The Chinese attempted to invade Markadian Vietnam, but the Nipponese had already taken it.

The Naval battles were super cool though, with a better trained and prepared fleet the Nipponese won them, beating back even the Ghandan fleet which had ruled the waves until then.

He lay dead on the field. Sinsa looked in horror as his father lay on the grass, a sword standing up from his chest. His eyes remained wide open, as his last sight was one of pain and agony. Sinsa removed his helmet from his head, his long hair tangled and torn, but he cared not. Brushing it aside from his face, he called out that the second king has died in this bloody war, and that he assumed command of the army, not that it mattered since it comprised of weak peasants equipped with homemade swords and daggers. The remaining army began a slow retreat, as the columns of reinforced Mycenean armies appeared on the horizon. Grabbing the post which held the Semerian flag, Sinsa held it high as he led his men south, to the new capital of Geron. It was the last of the great Semerian cities, and would be the sight of the last battle for Semerian independence...or it would seem.

The sun was hot on the back of Fifa. He and his men were busy digging an irrigation canal outside the walls of Carthage, where the people were thirsty for water. During the war, the canals had been damaged as the Myceneans retreated, hoping to destroy any spoils Fifa and his men might enjoy. Fifa was serious about not only occupying Carthage, but building it. While the large army he controlled was stuck here, he thought he might as well rebuild a city for the sake of the burnt Semer.

As he continued to dig, a pair of feet distracted him. He looked up to see it was Dria, the Imperial messenger. Bowing quickly, Dria went on to give the news of Semeria.

"Lisbon has fallen sire, and so has King Fare."

"Damnit. Our people are dieing, and we are stuck here building canals. We got to get over there." As he thought about it, an idea came to his mind. The ports, facing Sicily and Semeria, were nearing completion. He wondered if it were possible to...get to Semeria through other means then walking.

The day grew old, and eventually he and his army retired for the night.

Which country are you?

ok I lost but still where is my expansion? And why didn't the navies clashed with the Japanies navy?
BTW How could it be that Japan grow army but don't loose economy?

Well it was very important, If I won in the naval battle than Japan is now cut tp pieces...

I would like to join this, however, I have a question: When you say, in the rules, an upgrade for every turn, exactly what is upgraded?

Tarskan grunted with effort as he and two other men hoisted the 6 foot long "arrow" onto the huge crossbow-like structure at the center of the Flameslinger galley. After that, a man with a flaming piece of wood stepped up on a foot ladder and set the tip of the arrow, covered in cloth and flammable oil, aflame. He quickly got out of the way, and the gunner shouted, "Fire!'
Tarskan threw back the firing lever, and the huge flaming bolt sped off into the distance, a mile away onto the island of Cyprus. There was a large burst of fire off in the distance as the bolt dug into the ground, setting vegetation - and hopefully Vikings - aflame.
They began to load another arrow as a small rowboat paddled up to the Flameslinger ship. Tarskan and the other crossbow operators turned and looked, and spotted a light galley off some ways, where the rowboat had come from. After an exchange of shouts between the rowboat occupants and the captain of the Flameslinger, the rowboat turned aorund and began to row back to its galley.
The captain turned and spoke to the crew.
"Men, we are attacking an abandoned settlement! The Vikings have left!"
The crew exchange surprised looks, and then began arguing.
"Men, men!" shouted the captain, "Word is that the Scandinavians have decided to ally with the Mycenaens! We are no longer needed here, as you can guess. Hurry, hoist anchor and unfurl sails, we make back for port!"
Tarskan shrugged and went about his duties. All that mattered to him was, that's one more ally.

Orders after school today.

occ: Yoiu need to do the first post still before I can send orders in SKILORD.

From Mycenea
To Semer:
You are at loss in this war. You have almost completely lost your homeland, and soon all your land. We will once again, out of good faith, give you, the King and your family a chance of survival.

-You give us all land except the land of Portugal which means all of the western coast will be yours.
-We gain hold of all your other lands.
-You get 2-3 economy for you to spend on your lands and yourself.
-We will give you military aid against any threat you obtain in the future.
- This area is of one you can suggest to me for a potential peace treaty.

We ask that you cooperate. We have no intentions of destroying you or your people, however if you do not agree, you and your people will be under Mycenean control. Chose wisely.
