Utam al-Huarum leaned on his spear, standing alongside his companion Jaran Hafta on the dune overlooking the south side of the Ajaj capital, Ajarbaz. They watched as the settlers packed up their goods, slinging heavy bags of food, water, wood, and other material on their camels.
They were to be accompanying these men on their journey west to seek out new places for the growing population of Ajaj to live.
Utam turned to his friend.
"Do you really think we'll find anything out west? I always thought it was just a bunch of oasis-less desert."
"Remember, Utam," said Jaran, "our job is to protect those men from harm, not to tell them where to go. You think too much for a soldier, you are a dreamer. Perhaps you would be better suited as a scholar."
Utam spit on the scorching hot sand, thirsty.
"No fun in that. I was born for the fight."
Jaran smiled.
"As we all are, my friend," he said, gazing out at the 200 or so other escort soldiers camped out in the valley below.
"Perhaps we may see one, there is no telling what may lay out beyond that burning sea of sand..."

That was fun

Now I remember why I got into NES's in the first place ;)

From History.

After the reforms made in circa 3600 BC, the Slavic expansion resumed. At first, it went well, and agriculture begun to prosper in the newly-conquered lands. However, attempts to expand south (towards the "Solonorechye", Salty River - supposedly the Azov Sea) were soon jeopardized.

It was near this time that the ancient Far Western Turkman confederation in Middle Asia collapsed, and numerous tribes, such as Scythians, Sarmatians and Herculians, migrated west. Scythians and Sarmatians stopped north of Caucasus, but Herculians decided to move even farther west, crushing the crippled Avars along the way.

Soon enough, they came into contact with Velikoslavian scouts, slaughtering two 10-men groups entirely. The third one, however, was not destroyed completely as one of the scouts (according to the later chronicles and the folk tales), Pavelic, pretended to be dead and later escaped, heading to Slavagrad. Thus Velikoslavia became aware of this southern threat, and the "Herculian Wars" begun...

The British peoples, many hurt by the Irish raids, have flocked to the Druid banner, there remains a notable exception, the Angles. The Angles originated in Denmark and only recently sailed to the island, but have stated their determination to remain free from Druid rule and to continue to practice their own religion, Norse. Many battles have been fought, with the Druids and the Angles presently even, though Irish mercenaries have offered their services to both sides and several Irish sealords have made alliances with the Angles.

The Magd have heard of a race of men who burn perpetually to the north.

Medes is vaguely aware of the Ghand, though there is no formal contact.

Rule Clarifications

Education will be measured in Antiquity, not in Imperial.

Trade will cause economies to grow faster between two nations, it fosters more self-reliance on the behalf of the people and is generally hostile to the idea of a controlled economy. Sorry that this is not approached in the original rules, I will remedy this in a moment.

I am a nice guy. It is for this reason that none of your nation’s economies have not collapsed despite many them being uncontrolled and in the hands of a people dependant on their rulers. I will not be so lenient with army size penalties because they are old and you should be used to them.

I’m not sure if the nations post is perfect, I thought it was and when I double checked the work I had done I found a few errors, it should be alright, it might not be.

UU’s are not measured in and of themselves, but are assumed to be among the forces of your regular army.

TEUTONIC EMPIRE OF GERMANIA

The Empire started to expand, travelers moved on slowly on their horses or on foot, always looking for a nice place to settle; for a nice place to start a city. Many came and went, from the new frontiers to Berlin, the ancient city. In it people were always busy, a new wonder was being worked upon, but not one of moving stones into an arrangement, or building towers to the sky.
but a greater more important thing...... The rune alphabet, upon its completion education would increase, communications made easier, history be writen down, trade encourage. more than any building could ever do. It was the future and fundations that would made Germania powerful, great and better than any other.
Some people heard of news of peoples from north and south, but nothing else was heard.

- Place areas of land under certain officials control have one official for economic growth and the other for control over the military these should refer all their decisions to the King before commencing them and only if the King has allowed them.

All shall be educated in their fields and should be of the highest standards.

- Expand.
- Continue Wonder construction.
- Create A Training School or Acadamy for Generals and Governors before they are given land to oversee.
-Have them watched at all times By the Elite Madg Assasins (Our UU) If they stray from the kings way or view of things they will be dealt with and replaced.

Orders: Begin enlarging army, and start training troops to higher levels.
Make economy more controlled(OOC I can do that, right?)
Basically just start beefing up military, out of wariness to the rumors of a race of giant men to the south.

The desert is full of other peoples, primarily the nomadic Arabs and Persians. If any of these people are encountered, offer them a better life in Ajaj cities if they are willing to do their part in helping the nation grow (this amounts to paid labor, as the Ajaj won't resort to slavery)
 
OOC:

Yeah, you can switch to a controlled economy relatively easily just by saying so and converting. You won't get as much if you open up trade, but you will be in more control. It costs nothing to switch over and there is no complicated process.

As for the giants, I hope that you are aware (OOC) that those are the Madg... and they recieved information of you being perpetually on fire. If you do understand this then props for IC work.

About the giant stuff... I think it would be better if you said "...heard of a race of woman-worshippers"
