So who is tomorrow's cutting edge oppressed peoples?

My definition of oppressed means having perpetual crappy socioeconomic status with a voice that isn't represented. Because of that, it will still be urban African Americans (and maybe Hispanics) in A'murrica and urban funny named Muslims in Europe. But many people in the future will still claim they're being oppressed anyway.

edit: Also, postmodernists and drama majors one day hopefully.

Terrorists. We've even got parties in this country that want to give them the same rights as American citizens.

Dumb people.

Dumb people have always been oppressed and manipulated.
Just no one's making it very vocal, and no one's willing to share whatever knowledge there is to share with them.

What parties are you talking about?

It's called "universal human rights" for a reason.

Bisexuality still has a bit more stigma that homosexuality, but that seems to be changing hopefully.

People into BDSM - some of these acts are still illegal in many countries, including the UK.

Porn, including people who take photos of their own private sex acts - still a taboo or even illegal in many countries, especially if it involves less-mainstream stuff like BDSM (in the UK this may happen soon, and groups like Mediawatch are campaigning for it to be a criminal offence for adults to privately film themselves having sex, for example).

What about about polygamists?
Indeed, and also note that many people practice multiple relationships (polyamory) not for religious reasons.

Though having said that, the oppression doesn't seem to be anywhere near on the level that homosexuality ever was - it's not generally a criminal offence to have more than one relationship, and I haven't heard of people being attacked or killed over it, though it is nonetheless very much a taboo.

Some exaggerate, yes. But go to university (or at least the ones around here) and you'll see that there is much hatred toward the majority (white, male Christians)
What form does this hatred take? E.g., is there violence towards you, or are you discriminated against legally?
