For those thinking of buying islands, going into genetic research and employing soldiers for game, get real. $10M wouldn't be able to buy those things. It is not even enough to buy yourself a trip to the space. That trip would already cost $20M a person. So, although $10M is alot to ONE person, it is not really alot if you are looking at something BIG.

i would buy:
a house
a car (well 3 actualy, though only 1 is an expensive one)
a US citizenship
a trip to Russia for a few months (the citizenship, first though)
a set of nice clothes (not moronicaly expencive, but nice)
a college education (bachelors in CS, with a couple interesting minors)

then i would:
give a couple mil to my work (they need it, and deserve it)
half a mil to each: my dad, my mom, my sister, my nephew (trust fund)
the rest i'd use to play on the stockmarket. if i loose it, oh well, if i dont then great!
