Socialism vs Nationalism

So, there is always that big argument what ideology is "better" & socialists
& nationalists start to yell and scream at each other.

The nationalists usually argue that Mao was the worst/most evil/whatever
guy & according to the numbers he surely was. Socialists on the other side
argue that Hitler would have killed much more, if he would have been allowed
to do so.

Honestly, I think both sides are obviously no saints. I also don't have a problem
with socialists & nationalists that do admit that their ideologies, as any other,
do have problems or extremist sides. I do, however, have a problem with
those people who pretend their ideology would be some kind of flawless,
perfect religion.

If Nationalism =/= Nazis, then it has no clear definition, and so is not a particular ideology.

Mao is 70% good and 30% bad. Everyone knows that.
