SoI Domination Challenge

Fatimids collapsed beneath me and I rolled up the indy Levant quickly. I then expanded into Iraq and vassalised Karamanids. With them and Ottomans we collapsed the powerful Byzantine Empire, after which I backstabbed the Ottomans and left Anatolia to the Karamanids. I expanded into Iran with three GAs for the win. Other vassals were Ak Kouynly and Yemen.

I read the other domination thread; why is it good to have the Ottomans as a vassal? Is it because they build a large empire?
And how is your stability so good as the Mamluks? Temples and courthouses?

I just finished an Ottoman domination on Emir in 1611. Had some questions:
1. Why does the land required for domination keep increasing? Just after I got 25% after taking Georgia, it increased to 29. When I culture bombed a couple of cities in Persia to get ~28%, it increased again to 31. It was almost as if the game was trolling me.
2. How much % does 1 tile account for?
3. Whats the song that is played when domination any victory is won?

It was one of the most fun games I have played recently:D

I'm pretty sure domination requirements change depending on the number of living civs.

Yeah, that's pretty much correct.
When the number of alive civs drops to a certain level (not sure what's the exact number) the land requirement begins to increase when more civs die. The population treshold seems to be more complicated and dependant on the total population or then on the population of the next biggest civ. The algorithm is a bit hard to figure out without looking at the code.

Kingdom of Armenia 1298AD score 15923
Setteld Yeghegnadzor and Maragheh at start, capture indi workers from Qazvin and Mosul. Hire improved horse archer and axeman, easy capture Mosul, later all Abbasids in Iraq cities except Basra and Ahvaz with Buids help:D. Only in 990AD i founded Manazkert.
Next step - prepare for Seljuks spawn; spread Orth in Iraq, build everywhere church, market and barracks.
In 1070AD after losing Hamadan, Esfahan and Ray Seljuk capitulated. After my horde of horse archers moved to West(capitulated Rum and PoA both 1133 AD; KoJ and Georgia became a vassal state in 1145AD and 1175AD). Mamluks capitulated in 1270AD.
After the Mongol invasion i moved hordes of promoted HA and lancers to Yemen and Khwarezm.

Marageh - what an unusual start. Why did you do it?

Marageh - what an unusual start. Why did you do it?
Good:
1. Salt, cotton and dye;
2. Fast road to Mosul(before Buids spawn) and control over the crossroads Caucasus-Iran-Mesopotamia;
3. Border province;
4. No cultural pressure, no flip before 1402AD, easy to defend;

Bad:
1. Poor in food (max size 6 with windmill) with 8:hammers:.
