Some weird easter egg?

I was in the opening screen of Spore, where you choose your planet to play... I was listening to the Eno atmosphere music or something and lost in thought. So I started spinning the galaxy real fast. Basically you "grab it" with your mouse and drag it on a side to make it spin. Very quickly it started spinning quite fast, there was a flash of yellow light and I saw pictures of people coming out of the galaxy. Probably game developers?

I think in the demo it's the face of Will Wright. It doesn't seem to be that in Spore, there are many pictures.

I saw that too. It IS developers pics, i got a screenie and compared to pics on the EA and Maxis websites.
