Is this OK??

So, what happens in the blob world?

Great start everyone. keep the evolutions coming.
deadline for them is this time Thursday. I'm going to start working on the NPC ones and the currently posted PC ones now.

Gelion, good to see you again, but I am sorry, I don't understand question, clarification please?

here is a treat. just finished the first of the new evolution, and I thought I would give you a preview.
I give you the Aiken, along with the cell it evolved from.

@lord_joakim
excelent evolution, will get right on it.

Yes, yours will be multi cellular. the only ones that won't be are those of the blobus line, and they are.. well, they are just blobs.
everyone, I'm out of things to draw. give me more creatures!

Well, I'm glad people are evolving off my cell. I think I shall just observe for now.

Make mine multicellular(or multiblobbular)

Gelion, good to see you again, but I am sorry, I don't understand question, clarification please?
Just noticed it....
The question was, does this NES continue and if yes under what conditions?

Yes it dose continue with the same rules. though I'm upping the scale a bit to simple Multicellular lifeforms. for this turn the rules are the same, with perhaps a few changes next turn to better suit the new map and the more complex lifeforms.

Got to think of orders... got to think of when they are due :p
When is the next update?

Ohhh... I'll sit this one out, and I think you know my development plan anyway :)
Looking forward to the upcoming.

UPdate??? awhegfuygaeswuygbfhdzacm

working on it. I work on Fridays and saturday, and there are a lot of NPC's. most of the drawings are done, and once I finish the last one, I'll go to work on the writing part.

Update Five: the Next Epoch

Time passed, and the Epoch Progressed. Cells divided, and flourished, others died out and became lost to history.
The Potential habitat for life grew and grew, and eventually, we reach the current age. The good old days of single cells have passed, though there as still large population of them. But the spotlight has passed them by, and now shines upon the new, more complex creatures. The first multicullural creatures have emerged, and now dominate the pools.

The first of these multicellular forms we shall observe is the Aiken. The sole multicellular creature inhabiting the bottom layer, it is undoutbly the dominate creature of the seabed. With no predators, the plenty of debris floating down from above, and chemicals upwelling from the pools floor, it has grown quite numerous.

The only real competition the Aiken has is from the Basata, which primarily lives in the 5th level. While just as efferent as the Aiken, it has to worry about the occasional predator from the 4th level.

As we continue to move toward the surface, we enter the 4th level, and the first multicellular Predators. The foremost is the largest creature of the age, the Blastorus. A true monstrosity, it has is composed of dozens of individual cells that are heavily interlaced, with multiple nucleus in each cell. Together they Act as though they were a single cell. This produced no effective upperlimet on size of the creature.

The other Predator is the Hairy-Blobbus, which is a lot smaller, and relies more on tracking and ambush then overwhelming their opponents.

The Tachiovistus is the third species to populate 4th layer. Not a predator, but a Debris feeder, it has an expansive web of cilia. These both let it gather debris for a large area, and move away from predators of the layer quite quickly. Avoidance is its primary means of defense though, and if one is caught, it will quickly succumb and die.

As we head up to the 3rd layer, we stumble upon the Nico. While not a multicellular creature, it tends to cluster into small groups that act as a single creature. Fast, and lethal, these small swarms are often deadly.
The Olipe is the next creature to examine. Quick and lethal, it can easily sense the movement of other cells and track them by sent, then impale and feed on them through its horn. It is not a creature to be trifled with.

The second layer is the home of mediocre predators, the Chip and the Furry Cell. The chip is a monster, nearly as large as the Blastorus. Possibly the fasted creature that ever lived; it was forced to constantly eat and often starved to death before it could reach full size.

the prey of the furry cell, on the other hand, were often faster, though it was a relentless tracker and any that it did catch almost immediately died with very little effort on its part, offering it an easy meal.

The first layer was undoubtedly the most active. First, we have the harry Cell, a simple filter feeder, the only multicellualr one at that. It is also the only non plant living on the surface layer.
Of the plants, 2 have reached multi-cellular Status.

One if the Exodus, which tends to clump together into loosely bound clusters of cells, held together by their cilia.
The second is the Expomanus, which bind themselves into long chains to improve the efficiency of their aqua jets.

but for now, you atleast get the map.
