SSNES: Fall of Wu'di

What suspense? :p

You know, the feeling of actually running a nation in a NES, rather than sitting in front of a PC, sending orders once in a week. Visualizing the landscape in the NES, rather than staring at the map. In short, the suspense of NESing and not simply posting some words on a forum.

Dint you catch my ironic :P or did you chose to not see it, to try to make me feel stupid?

No, I thought you might be referring to somthing else.

WTH I just payed for 4 turns to get a higher eco level and now I'm back where I started AWARASDHS!HOJISE!!!

Additional questions:What happened to the Wudi in the South? How did my buisness meeting with Semnon go?Plus something else I cant remember.

Gyaaaaaaaaargh! 2 eco levels lost! Life magic lost! Noooooooooo!

But other than that, great update!

@SS: Is there any way that I can develop the knowledge I already have of life magic to make it more complete? Experiments, etc.

From: Delenlor
To: Ramon

****! Surely you understand that it is not the government's fault that our adepts panicked, just as it is not your fault that you forced them out of the academy. With the hard days that are already present, and more of them that are sure to come, peace is more vital than ever.

DOH! I forgot entirely about that! Wait a minute... *eheM*

[update] Note on Horus: Seth Dethos has consumed the entire soul of Semnon, acquiring Death magic! [/update]

And the eco slapdown was equal for everyone. I don't see how it will screw you completely over, other than feeling disadvantaged.

@JD: Sorry. What you were trying to do was to TRANSLATE the writings. You did not train any new Life Adepts, and the documents needed for even doing any research at all related to it are all gone. Needless to say, you're far from being able to get anything out from what little you managed to do.

Well at least I got Death Magic.*dances* Oh yeah!/DuffMan

Can I use air magic to reconstruct the pieces? As a project? Please?

No, you please ME! :p The only chance of me allowing that, is if you manage to write something that persuades me to accept it. Given the fact that they are probabily scattered across a square mile of urban area, severely damaged, completely out of order and not to mention the fact that ramon still controls the Academy city: you simply can't. Sorry.

It seems like I'm here to thwart you at every turn. It is both intentional and grieving for me. :p I guess MODs are every player's worst friend. If that sounds remotely logical at all.

EDIT: Correction! You can always Bribe Me With Pizza. :D

If there are no immediate adresses, I will retire for the day. Stats will be refreshed tomorrow. Good night/day/morning everyone.

What happen with South Wudi?Your work is not yet done.

Dumm - Dumm - Dumm
went the drums

The two lines of Ramonian Soldiers had been waiting for quite some time now. One day ago the Second Ramonian Army under General Amur had arrived at the magical Citadel of Life. It's beautifull towers stood high towards the sky and a purple haze lay over the entire city. First the army had held a ceremony to honour those Ramonians who had died to wrestle this place out of the claws of the Wu'di Empire. Then the General himself had met with the Delanorian commander. He had told his counterpart that he should remove his entire forces and all Delanorian subjects out of this city and to hand over the keys of the magical tower to it's rightfull owner. The Delanorian commander reacted calm. He must have known that his former allies were quite angered about what had happened so far..

went the drums

General Amur hadn't set a time limit for the withdrawel of the Delanorians, but he hoped that he could march into the city as soon as possible. By midday of the second day the Delanorian procession had begun to leave the city. Mutely and motionless did the Ramonian formation watch. They had strict orders not to dishonour the Delanorians in any way. They were soldiers too afterall. Only a pair of drums accompanied the march of the Delanorians.

went the drums

The General was quite satisfied. Everything seemed to work out well. His men made an excellent show, the Delanorians remained peacefull - soon the Citadel of Life would finally be part of the Kingdom, like it was supposed to be. Maybe the relations between the two nations would relax again. There were bad news comming from everywhere: Invasions, plague, coldness... Bad times were coming for the Blade Coast. And in bad times a good ally was needed.
He had fought three battles over this Citadel. Two times he was accompanied with Delanorians. The companies which were just leaving the citadel had fought right next to his very own troops. They were good warriors and he respected them. Most likely -
Suddenly there was confusion comming from somewhere in the citadel. The last Delanorian troops suddenly begun to rush. The troops at the top of the column become uneasy too, some turned around as they wanted to see what was going on. Now the Ramonians begun to wonder, too. What was going on?

---BOOOOM---

A flash, a thunder and a gigantic explosion.

Confusion and chaos struck the people. As the dust and smoke was slowly blown away a great moaning came from the Ramonians. The great towers of the Citadel had... dissappeared. Only a burning ruin had remained.

"HOLD THE LINE!"

That was the first order. The danger that some of the men would just overreact and storm the Delanorians at once was to great. General Amur had strict orders. The peace must be saved. Regardless of what would happen.

"They have blown away the citadel of life!"
"They hate us so much that they rather want to destroy it, then hand it over to us!"
"They have disshonoured us!"

The men were screaming in furiousity.

General Amur jumped on his horse and rode along the line of soldiers. Currently it didn't matter what had happened. The order had to be kept.

"QUIET!"

"QUIET!!!"

The men were silent again.

After two hours the last Delanorian had left the scene in hurry - untouched. As the army entered the smoking ruins of the once beautfull citadel some men cried. They had fought alongside these men - why did they do this? Others cursed the Delanorians openly. They were the allies of Wu'di, they should all be slain so that the those who had given their lifes to take this city could rest again.

As General Amur watched over the scenery he had a strange feeling... He was lucky that he had not to decide about what should happen next. Now the damage had to be repaired. There were still some magical fires burning and possible there were civilians injured by the explosion. There was work to do. He could think about the consequences later.

Do not dare to speak with us in such a way!

We apologize, but could you kindly tell us what was daring about our statement? We at least meant, though it may not have been understood, our message to express our sincere apologies and condolences for this tragedy, which was certainly not intentional, and to express our wishes that good relations could still be salvaged between our states.

OOC: Damn you, Silver! I really didn't want to fight a war...

OOC: Atleast be glad that your nation doesn't have the plague.

IC:

To: All who have the Plague or suspect that they have it
From: The Council of Nine of Bellfern

If you think you have the plague, you must proceed to the nearest village magician/witch/druid for further examination. In Cha'dra come to the Nature Academy. The goverment will do all it can to resolve this situation as soon as possible. All of the refugees will be given shelter don't worry, this won't be a repeat of Shaemar or Westshire.

We are willing to give permanent refuge to all of your people, everyone from adepts and government members to the poorest peasants. We are sorry that our help couldn't reach you until it was too late. You nation might disapear, but don't allow your people to go with it.

It collapsed after their officers (mostly military) were killed. Some claimed agents, others said it was a mutiny... In any case, there was no government left there, so the place went into anarchy. Most of the population was either charred, starved or killed by infighting. In short, there's nobody left to rule over.

I think this needs an OOC explanation. The thing is, JD planted a "safety" in case Ramon invaded. JD also stated that all of his forces would move out, except ten Adepts who were going to continue studies. The tossi wrote that ALL of the Delenlor troops would be sent out...

Sorry for uncovering some order stuff here, but I think it will serve you better than fumbling away without the common knowledge. Oh, and the rest of you (not JD/tossi), YOU NEVER READ THIS POST, M'KAY? :p
