SSNES3: Slaves and Masters

I have a world map with resources on my harddisk, and may release it together with the other maps above if there is a great demand...

How nice of you. I'm sure people will follow your lead and post similar guidelines and write something completely different in their orders. :)
For shame. Erronia may be a warmongering nation, but it's an honest one. :king:

Whatever you say. :mischief: (Oh, and the use of smilies makes ones post weigh more...)

9 this Fryzer. Fryzer is signing in, over.

Description and orders are coming soon

Fryzer, this is 9. Welcome aboard. Over.

das ist here.

What's the point of stats if we are going to have a BT update? Speaking of which, how many years should it take?

The Allendi are checking in. We reserved two islands in advance, paid by credit card. Name, Eliandrin.

The BT will bring us to year 0 or the equivalent. The more scholarly of you may found a calendar. ;) I reckon the BT will last for a couple hundred years or so. I know it's quite long, but I want to have your nations at a certain level before we start.

Swissempire elegantly strides into thread, takes off long, dashing coat and puts it onto a coat rack. He then puts his hat there as well. With long and gallant strides he goes over and sits at the long oak table. "I've arrived, Veir Shu d'o Itor[1]"

The Kings and Queens of Ainallend

Volume I

Eliandrin I – First ruler of Ainallend, originally lady of a small principality on the island of Athlin. Made almost continuous war on surrounding principalities under they surrendered, one by one. Married the elderly lord of Hadith and seized his title upon his death in order to unite Athlin. Named three heirs during her lifetime, but the first and second predeceased her.
Reign: 21 years

Marlos I – He was the successor to Eliandrin I and formerly a bureaucrat in the defunct principality of Indaer. He proved essential in the annexation of Hadith into Eliandrin’s Ainallend and shared her view of a unification of the Allendi people. During his reign, he fought constant rebellions by various princelings, notably the War of the Three Trees. He sent messages to Belod island threatening invasion if they did not acknowledge him as king but died before the invasion fleet could be assembled.
Reign: 17 years

Marlos II – He was grandson of Eliandrin I and raised in Marlos I’s court. He was a key general in the War of the Three Trees where he held rebelling princess Kulo to a standstill in the Battle of the Wetwood, allowing Marlos I to escape. Following his ascent to the throne, he relocated the capital to the coastal town of Amyon, which he renamed Allendyon. He rescinded threats issued by Marlos I against Belod but continued to push for closer relations.
Reign: 26 years

Reiad – She was born daughter of a fisherwoman but became influence in the courts of Marlos I and II due to her exceptional mathematical ability. She played a role in the planning of Allendyon and was deep in the counsel of Marlos II. Her reign was brief, and she died suddenly, apparently without appointing an heir. (There is some historical debate as to the possibility that Hathye II was her appointed heir.)
Reign: 4 years

Eliandrin II – Sometimes called Eliandrin the Usurper, she was a powerful court bureaucrat who declared herself Queen upon Reiad’s sudden death. She initially had the backing of the populace but was defeated in battle two months into her reign, after which her popularity declined. She was overthrown when Hathye of Hadith entered Allendyon less than a year after her reign began.
Reign: 1 year

Hathye I – An elderly ally of Marlos II, he refused to acknowledge Eliandrin II as Queen and began a rebellion against her rule. He initially met with little success but, after a drought brought famine to Allendyon, managed to oust Eliandrin II and take the throne. Due to his advanced age, he reigned for only two years.
Reign: 2 years

Hathye II – He was originally a brilliant diplomat in the court of Reiad, and some historical accounts say that he was her named heir. He was exiled when Eliandrin Ii came to the throne and allied himself with Hathye I, who later named him his heir. His diplomacy finally brought some of the principalities of Belod under the monarchy, and he successfully reconciled with the former supporters of Eliandrin II.
Reign: 25 years

Maritha – The first monarch from Belod, she was also the first lady from that island to swear allegiance to Hathye II. She was named his heir shortly before his death when some of the Belod principalities seemed ready to attack those which had sworn allegiance to the throne. Her reign was uneventful, notable primarily for renewed closeness between Athlin and Belod; war was averted.
Reign: 31 years

Terak I – Another Belod lord, he was chosen by Maritha for his status as the most powerful Belod lord to swear allegiance to the throne. During his reign, war broke out on Belod, and he crushed the armies of those who resisted the throne. All of Belod was brought under the throne at Allendyon by his death.
Reign: 19 years

Lolii – Wife of Terak I and great-granddaughter of Reiad, she was the second descendant of a former monarch to ascend the throne. As capable in diplomacy as her husband had been in war, she wove alliances with the remaining Belod lords to ensure that no future rebellions would occur. Her reign was brief, however, lasting only three years.
Reign: 3 years

Mised – Originally a tax collector during the reign of Terak I, he rose to the status of Queen’s Justice under Lolii, who appoint him heir. To date the longest-reigning monarch, it was during his reign that many of the modern laws of Ainallend were codified. His reign was however, mostly uneventful.
Reign: 36 years

Terak II – He was mayor of Allendyon before being appointed heir and a close political ally of Mised. His reign saw complete consolidation of control over the island of Belod and some speculation into further overseas expansion.
Reign: 9 years

Marlos III – He is the current monarch.
Reign: 8+ years

History of Anubitan

Long before our days of enslavement, we Anubitan were a proud, noble race of warriors. We lived by the sword, and died by it. So many died by it. Our people were strong, our kingdoms were glorious, until the Ancients came. They took our minds. Our warrior minds. Our free minds. And made us slaves to them, beasts of burden was what the saw fit to put us to. We, the Anubitans, who prided ourselves on our knowledge of the stars, and of the world, were but mules to these beings. How cruel it was. We were put along side Kage to toil. Due to our size (around 9-10 feet). When the Ancient began their war we broke free and fled to the mountains, near the Kashek river. Led by Durga the Keen we began to rebuild our broken race and grew in numbers from just a few hundred, to over a thousand.

I'm here- just wondering through, is there any desert nearby that I can start in?

Leaders of Chiricherevic, since Karkoya's Founding in the Times of the Slavers

Sabnaschervecius 'The Elder'
The first of the Chirik leaders since their enslavement in ages past, Sabnaschervecius led a large group of Chiriks in a small revolt and fled into the mountains. Here, he united the ragged groups of escaped Chiriks and founded Chiricherevic. He founded the city of Karkoya (High-Home) and several other cities early in his reign. Throughout all of his reign, he retained absolute authority over the cities of Free Chiriks. Many Ancient campaigns were sent to defeat his group, and many free Chiriks lost their lives or homes, but Karkoya remained undiscovered for all of his long reign.

Reigned for 20 years.

Vestiluscharaccus 'The General'
Sabnaschervacius head no blood relatives at the time of his death, so reign passed to his General Vestiluscharaccus. This Chirik became renowned by his people for his military skills, adopting many modern tactics such as swooping melee attacks and hovering archery bombardments. Vestiluscharaccus was large and strong for a Chirik, and was famous (or infamous) for fighting the Ancients' armies hand-to-hand in their element and winning.

Near the end of his reign, the Ancients launched a great campaign, destroying all of the Chirik aeries save Karkoya. With its long-secret location now known, the city was besieged for several months. Fortunately for the Chiriks, at this time civil war broke out amongst the Ancients. The siege weakened, then eventually fell apart as the war intensified. The General wasted no time in going on the offensive, recapturing the ruins of several cities and allying with several human groups and frequently the Eiph.

Vestiluscharaccus was slain in battle far from his home in the mountains during the height of the Ancient war. His body was brought back to Karkoya, and he was burned, as per Chirik tradition, to become at one with the elements again.

Reigned for 11 years.

Selevexius 'The Liberator'
Selevexius was Vestiluscharaccus' oldest son, and his declared heir. He was not as great a leader or general as his predecessors, but nonetheless was responsible for liberating countless thousands of Chiriks and bringing them back to Karkoya, swelling the city's population vastly. Throughout his time in command, the Ancients ceased to fight each other and allied against their rebelling slaves. Selevexius' reign was cut short during an outbreak of a plague (possibly natural, possibly a desperate attack of the ancients), which killed many of the lifeforms around the River Heartlands.

Reigned for 4 years.

Kekkereschevius 'The Stateschirik'
Selevexius had only eggs as successors when he died, and they all proved to be stillborn. It is unknown whether this was due to foul play, the plague, or something more mysterious, but Kekkereschevius, an influential Chirik diplomat, took control of the nation immediately after the death of the only heirs of the last leader. There was some resistance to his rule, which was diplomatically solved or fought out. This ultimately resulted in decentralization, with more power going to generals who wanted the throne for themselves. They led the last campaigns against the Ancients, and saw them flee Magnamund. As soon as they were gone, several Chirik generals declared their independence. Kekkereschevius was removed from power, and lived out the remainder of his days in exile in Osloria.

Reigned for 5 years.

Generals Period
For several centuries, while all of the once-united enslaved people began to fight one another, Chiricherevic fell into chaos itself. It became a group of city states in the mountains, regularly fighting each other and only allying when the Chiriks were attacked by other races. It seemed like this would be the way of the future, but patterns in history have an inevitable habit of altering...

Generals reigned for an unknown period of time.

Korisikarus 'The Uniter'
One of the Generals during the times of division, Korisikarus proved his strategic genius by uniting the Chiriks with a combination of force of arms, diplomacy, blood ties, and a touch of betrayal. He re-established Karkoya as the Chirik capital, and at last began to develop the country. Korisikarus is now beginning to lead tentative expeditions out of the mountains, discovering that the rest of the world is stabilizing as well. The rest of his story will unfold in time.

Reigning for 7 years.

NOTE: My race is called Chirik, the nation is Chiricherevic. Just to fix an error in the species section.

do I have to by the same type of Orc as Cleric? his seem too simple for my liking

I dont think so. But then again the only things we can buy now is infantry, cavalry and ships so I'm not sure what you are after.

What's the climate in the Monopotamia?

Also, is the fauna you have mentioned more-or-less universal?

@emu: They are the same species. However, you're both free to tread your own paths of development. :)

@das: The climate is pretty much what you expect it to be. Temperate, not too humid, with endless plains with rolling hills. The coast, however, is quite exceptional. When Magnamund almost split up, this was where the surface cracked up first, and buckled in. The resulting "canyon" is dominated by warped rocks and sheer vertical walls in the narrow parts. The wider lakes have normal coasts, but are frequently filled with treacherous reefs.
