I'm making this one for the SG1 mod, but I think the Borg could use this as well as a planetary assimilator.

I've only just signed up to this site becuase of Mentats' praise in respect to these models for the Trek mod in the Birth of the Federation 2 (BOTF2) forums.
No, i'm not gonna advertise the forums here (Although technically I already have...
) but I am gonna agree with him - these models are exceptional work! 
To be honest, i'm only here coz the BOTF2 forums are down for an update or something at the moment.
I remembered what Mentat said about the mod he was helping with though, so I thought i'd come along and have a look to pass the time.
Am I glad that I did!
The models that i've seen so far are excellent, and being a fellow civ fan, I also will be looking forward to this mod.
Be sure that when the forums are up again, I will be singing your praises to the people there, Flamand. (And anyone else that has also made the models
)
The people over there would certainly be able to offer ideas - and possibly even help - should it be required. To avoid further advertising here, just do a google for BOTF2 if you want to know what i'm on about.
Good luck with your mod, and if anyone wants to say hello or even crucify me for polluting these threads with "accidental" advertising of other places, feel free to do so via email or PM.

There is also a full list of the ships that will eventually be in the game. Not all the ship models have been completed yet, though.
If you post on the site, (You'll have to register to do so) Jigalypuff will be happy to answer any questions you have, and i'm sure he'll help you in any way he can.
The BOTF2 project is currently on hold because the main programmer is currently moving house, so your project isn't the only one that won't be out for a while.

In case you wanted them, here are some links to the different ships that have been completed so far. If you think it's a bit much info though, i'll delete them. The Ships of the Federation are the most prominent because these were the first mdels created. The lack of ships for other races is due to the fact that the forums are so full that it is hard to find stuff, and there are fewer released images of these ships:
Most of the models don't have textures yet - these are gonna be done by Jigalypuff or someone else later.

For the moment I'm preoccupied with Fallout, but even for that time is extra limited...but Fed is coming 3rd in my list of mods, so i'm not worried about it much yet.

If you want to use that unit for the Borg, what about making the light blue bits green?
That would make it look a bit more 'Borgy' looking.
Sorry if all those links were a bit much. There have actually been many more shots of ships that will be in the game (Mostly Cardassian and Vulcan ones) but the pictures have since been removed from the archives to save space.
If you want to see more of them, Jigalypuff is the one to ask for most of the models, although Fireball and Skeeter may also be willing to show you their models if you ask.
