Star Wars in FREEDEE!

In the two hours since I took the picture, the video has been liked 24 more times, and disliked 200 times.

Mace was in no way shape or fashion a bad ass ass mf SLJ character.

Mace did absolutely nothing in the prequels. He was boring and monotone like all the other characters, even in the scenes where he was supposed to be emotional and passionate. His fights were just heavily rehearsed choreographed dances just like all the other Jedi fight scenes.

It was all implied in II and III. They say that he's the best lightsaber fighting jedi and probably the second best jedi evar but all we get is a silly beheading scene in II and a lame lightsaber fight in III.

Im frankly surprised the ratio is at a solid 8:1 and not more like 20:1.
It's probably because the rest had to get off the page as soon as possible before their eyes melted. :p

BTW Anyone see Red Tails yet? I've heard nothing but bad things.

It's not the best. It gets points for trying to pay homage to the super patriotic war movies of the 40's and 50's, but doesn't do it very well.

No but I like the trailers that I've seen. I'm skeptical of the skill of the story-telling in this one, but I've little doubt the fight scenes are terrific.

I am pretty sure Hayden Christiansen is just a terrible actor. It would have been basically impossible to get a good performance out of him. That said, he shouldn't have been cast in the first place.
Well, Keanu Reeves made a whole career out of being a good looking bad actor... Hayden can too, I suppose.

I don't care how bad it is. It's 3D. And I'm dressing up and going.

If I can find/make a costume in 4 days.

Stats update!

True. That must be the one good thing about that video.

Natalie Portman was awful in II-III as well, which is a shame since she is an extremely talented actress. It shows she didn't give a damn about the movies and only did it for the paycheck.

I have never seen the Hayden guy in any other movie. As such I feel bad judging him too harshly by the prequels because as you pointed out even Portman who is well known to be a good actress was sort of dragged down by the dialogue Lucas was slopping out there.

He was also in Jumper and was equally terrible in that.

I saw Shattered Glass with Hayden Christensen. If he did a good job acting, it was a difficult thing to see through the brain-stabbingly annoying character he played.

Hayden was in another movie, I can't remember the title, an apocalyptic movie about shadow creatures killing everyone. I think it was a good performance.

Whoever this narrator is should never do voice work again.

Or time travel back to 1994. Like radical dude!

Dear lord that is terrible!
I don't think even Christopher Lee or Patrick Stewart doing the narraration could save it.

I think we nostalgic folks should come to terms with the hard fact that the original Star Wars sucked big time as well. Acting was awful (apart from Harrison Ford, naturally), dialogues were written by dumb kids and the plot itself was rather laughable.
