Star Wars Mod

Alright this sunday the 0.65 should come out I'm almost done with the units so finally the new version will come!
 
i need to read the forums more... only now did i find this mod.

good news is its almost done, so i dont have to wait long! ;p
 
Civmansam, did you come up with the ArtDefines for the units?
 
will this version be 1.61 compatiable

Civmansam, as I told you I'm having CTDs whenever a city is built; I did not have this problem before the new units, art, and files you sent me. Can you check if you are having this problem?
 
could you make the mod a .exe for us

Plans change. If you could figure out how to solve the problem of CTD, then go ahead. Check my thread on the main C&C forum called "[DEBUG] Star Wars Mod" for the latest version of Star Wars, complete with CTDs.

Hi Shqype, Don't let anyone hurry you my friend. Nothing worth doing was ever done on a strict timeline. We shall all calmly wait. Besides, I seriously doubt this will be the "finished" Star Wars mod when it does come out.:goodjob:

You're right, it won't be the "finished" Star Wars mod. I'm pleased to say that the CTD is gone, all thanks to Kael which found the problem. You should all thank him for helping us out so we could continue to work on this!

Civmansam and I are almost done with this release. Granted, there will still be a lot of holes and balance issues and missing art, etc, but it will be something that you all can play with and hopefully give you enough of a feel to contribute ideas.

Here is the current tech tree (I told you button art isn't done yet :p):


We still need to determine what each tech allows (insofar as buildings are concerned) and what bonuses they give (such as production, commerce, food, etc). And, as you can see, we still need techs! Non-military techs, especially for the late era.

But, soon it shall be released and then we can move from there :)

Shqype, The tech tree looks EXCELLENT. The one in the original mod had a lot of things that just confused the hell out of me. This one looks great. I am REALLY looking forward to the new and improved MOD. You guys are doing an incredible job.
