Star Wars: The Mod Strikes Back

No, we aren't doing the same unit, I am doing a TIE Interceptor, and chris is doing a fighter, and a bomber. Don't worry about my OPenFX problem, I got it fixed.

Civilization Animation Files are in the .flc format, I just use Animated GIFs for previews. You'll need either Moenir's Flicster program or Cyber Dreyk's Civ3FLCEdit program to make .flc files, they can be found in the Utility Programs Forum.

The programs I use for unit making:
Civ3FLCEdit - viewing animations and extracting to flc files.
Steph's Storyboard Builder - creating storyboards and centering units.
Paint Shop Pro - Pallettes and viewing/editing storyboards and other stuff.
OpenFX - for creating and animating 3-d Models even though I haven't made any units from it.
SW:GB DRS Viewer - for extracting stuff from Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.

There are a lot more programs out there that you can use as well. You should probably check out the Briefing for Creation & Customization Newbies threadfor more info.

Hey.... still having troubles uploading the mod..... it's getting annoying now.
20mB for the units alone, and thats in rar format.

I did some more advisors, so there is now Talon Kardde as trade advisor, and Qui Xux for the science advisor, and i modified the 3PO one to be for culture and foreign (as that is what protocol droids would theoretically be best at).

If anyone who can upload stuff has MSN or anything like that, ill send you the files and you can upload them, because my computer refuses to.

Love the new TIEs... but i am slightly concerned when you say 'upgrade'... TIE fighters are the cheap fighters that are slower than the Interceptors but tougher, and have more energy provided with the larger solar panels.... thus i would suggest using all kinds of TIEs and other starfighters, as there would never really be a time when like only TIE defenders are used (much superior, but far too expensive for the remnant to produce). Also, do the lasers fire faster ingame? Look a bit slow for light beams currently... but great all the same.

Man, the Yuuzhan Vong tech tree gets harder every time. It's really difficult to come up with Evil names for everything, ;). Well, here it is, era 2:

Hows the Juggernaut going, you may be wondering... well as far as modellnig is going, that was predone. Unfortunately, my animating problem still exists as i have had no time to sort it...just too darn busy. Hoping to get some time this weekend, and i will get it sorted! I will
 
Wow! This strange "Real" you speak of.... what is "work"? I heard you have to do that when you "grow up". So many strange words! These are EVIL!!!! Sooo, I'm starting the 3rd regular era soon. Once I finish all 8 eras (Yuuzhan Vong), I'll put the unit tree and the updated eras on the site.
