:lol: First proper "days work" iv done in my life!!!

Ok finally, heres the breakin news....IVE SOLVED MY OPEN FX ANIMATION PROBLEM! JUGGERNAUT, HERE I COME! :lol:

Turns out the problem was really simple...in fact so simple that its embarrasing. Im not even going to tell you, for fear of you throwing me outta the mod team in disgust :crazyeye: .

But the point is... :goodjob: ...were back on schedule! Come on. Unfortunately this also means im going to have to start again on the modelling front, but it should work out fine. :king:

Well, the other eras will have to wait. My computer is misbehaving, (i.e. burning my hand when I grab my mouse. 100% true story.) and I'm hijacking my bro's computer while he's at band. This, of course means all of my material for tech trees is on my other comp, therefore, no tech tree for a while, :(. Secondly, thank you Chris85, Olorin, mrkingkong, polyphemus and everyone else for making units.

Sure, I'll do that. The tech tree I'm making puts more of an emphasis on game balance and feature a line of civ-specific techs in each era to add more flavor. I'm still pretty far from producing a preview, I might have one ready by Monday.
 
Hey, just checking in again. (From my bro's comp again. Mine won't even start up anymore) So, it's good to see 4 people each making Star Wars units all at the same time, :D. I might not be around for a while, so don't wait up for me on that tech tree melding thing.
 
OK, since i'm very fed up with the mod not uploading at all, im going to start trying to upload lots of tiny parts of it, for someone else to download and stick back together. You can see the advisor section, in the graphics forum. I'll try uploading it to our official website thing, but don't expect anything overly user friendly...
Here are two so far...

A list is contained inside of the three other files that i will also upload.
The tech tree thats in there is of the original mod, so please dont get angry with me for ignoring all your work - its there till you all create a replacement tree.

NB - will not work on own.

http://www.angelfire.com/theforce2/starwarsmod/downloads.html now contains a list to all the downloads for the mod - i know there are a few, and prob should be less, but i've had a lot of trouble uploading this stuff, so give me a break.

For units that aren't ready yet, i've just linked all the config file links to some original unit... such as for the shield domes i've used the princess graphic.

OK people, i found all the problems in the coding, i think theres something odd with angelfire, it keeps translating the html differently to other places, like geocities and my desktop...... but it all works now.
You may want to disable the trading place or change the unit graphics for 'trade resource' - it doesnt work..... its not an exceptionally well made unit.... just copy in princess default animation or soemthing.
 
This thread been quiet for the past few days. Here are some new previews of my TIE Bomber which I'm really close to finishing, I just got to complete the bombard animation and test it in-game to make sure everythings right. The new version should be posted either tomorrow or Monday. :)

BTW, the previews are of lower quality than the actual animation, because of the limited palette that comes with FLC2GIF.
