Status and "To Do" List

Is there a list of the UU, UB, and starting techs for the civs in this mod pack? Basically like a readme/manual text file somewhere?

No, but we really need one because we've had a few requests like yours. We have the info in various spreadsheets right now. We just need to actually put them together into something useful.

I'd be incredibly grateful if anyone volunteered to look through the pedia and put this together for us.

I might be able to find time to do it. I'm downloading it partially for my civ experience and partially for my metadata/xml research as a library student.

can you do some More Work on Scotland because robert and mary not really like that and maybe change The City list because Stirling has more History then Aberdeen. UU maybe something to do with a Pikes because Pikes played a large part in the battle of Stirling Brigde or The Thin Red . maybe A new leader head like Donald Dewar the first first Minister of Scotland Donald Dewar or Alex Salmond Who is trying to get Scottish freedom from England UB i like but Replace Dry dock with Shipyard as Scotland build ships in WW2 for England

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thin_Red_Line_(1854_battle) thin red line
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Scotland history of scotland
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Stirling_Bridge Stirling bridge
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Salmond alex Salmond
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Dewar Donald Dewar

But all in all What you done with scotland is ok :)

There is a new Mary around - not sure if I used it. As for Robert, I agree. I'll see what I can do.

Hmmm...well, we've had positive feedback on the UU and UB from Scots before, so I'll probably keep those. But I can look into a modern leader like Dewar. No promises, though, because we have a big to do list already!

But I will look at the city list for you, and see what can be done with the leaderheads.

But all in all What you done with scotland is ok :)

Thanks!

Wow, this is the sort of mod I've dreamed of sence I've first played Civ IV.

Well, this is by far the best mod I've ever played, but can someone explain the "Terrible Pack?" I sort of only skimmed the topic, is it an add on?

As for sugesstions, all I've seen so far is that Cardinal Richelieu for France needs for his face is very still and unnatural. Also Collin's mouth looks strange, however that could just be me. Maybe Prester John as an Ethiopian Leader? an Croatia's unique unit also just doesn't seem to fit them. Also, maybe in the future...a Ghana Civ? They were a great African nation and were the first major Salt and Gold trade nation.

Hello. Magnificent mod, people. :goodjob:

A little suggestion:

In Francisco Franco civpedia it says that only helped to Germany and Italy. That's not exact. He did a "double game". He also helped the allied forces by sending iron minerals, potassium, pyrite, and even provided the pass, through German controls, of precision instruments and other items urgently needed to England from Switzerland and from occupied Europe.

An USA ambassador report titled "Balance of war-Axis Allies in Spain" says that, despite appearances, the Franco's Spain had helped the allies more than the Axis forces, at least since the entry of U.S. in the war.
:crazyeye:
I'm not saying that Franco was a good man, of course not, he was a fascist dictator, but he wasn't bad neither.

*cough cough*I'm sorry, but i had to say it :p. Excuse the interruption and any offense. It's just a suggestion to add to the civpedia. I don't want to open a debate. "But he also helped the Allied.". Franco had a special ability to navigate between two seas.
Long live the democracy, the equality and the freedom. :)

Let's just say he was a very opportunistic dictator (who knew which way the wind was blowing) - but I support your suggestion about the Civpedia addition.

yup.
Spoiler :
First, our country razed (and our cultural heritage taken out), then a republic of some idiot corrupt dirigents (that led us to a war against a tecnologically superior enemy), later a civil war, and then a dictatorial and unfair regime... what a mess... i hope this is finished, and we can reborn from our ashes...:(

I don't know if or where an appropriate place to make requests would be, but here's some civs and leaders I'd like:

Confederate American (CSA), General Lee
Texas, Sam Houston
Inuit, ?

Hitler leader
Patton leader from Amra's Modpack.

I'm amazed by how well polished this mod is! A whole gig of Civ goodness! and when merged with the Revolution mod... I can't stop!

What about reskinning Niall Noigiallach so he isn't radioactive or doing strange things in a cemetary?

Maybe a Renaissance leader for Ireland?

Other than that, good job, I really like this.

I have no current plans for the CSA, but that doesn't mean it won't happen at some point.

The Inuit are in, represented by the Upaajut. The native civs will likely all be retooled for clarity in the near future.

Hitler will be included in the forthcoming release: "CIV Gold: the Nature of Man", which will include Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Richard III, Pinochet, Idi Amin, Vercingetorix and a host of other pleasant fellows from history.

Thank you.

Niall was an early, early LH done before we learned how to really work with blender. He's a bit of a modern Irish caricature, rather than a true representation of Niall. I've been wanting to change it for some time, but I must admit it's a bit lower on the priority ladder. If you can petition a graphics guy to do a new one, I'll gladly replace him.

Who do you suggest as the Ren leader?
