Those Inuits are giving the Greenlanders a hard time. Although they have fallen back on the main line, they are fighting ferociously and are expanding into the east.

California continues to expand, spreading the word of their glorious rule all across the land. While many peoples join the Californians, 4 sizeable tribes seek to resist thier rule (Pueblos, Comanches, Sioux, San Francisco ;D). Each is weak on its own, but together they have a chance to cause problems.
Population boom in Korea! The 60% tax deduction on 5 or more child families has caused a huge boom in population, as does the number of people venturing into unknown lands. The economy has taken a small hit, but many believe it is worth it.
While expanding north into Hokkaido, the Japanese settlers discovered an uknown tribe. They called themselves the Ainus, but refused to let the Japanese settle Hokkaido. They have pushed them all the way back to Honshu.
Natives of the island chain of Hawaii come together to form the nation of Hawaii. They have a strong liking for surfing and controlling the seas.
As Phoenician sailors take a break from exploring the Med, tribes in Crete and Cyprus are impressed with the Phoenician way of life and culture. They have joined Phoenicia.
Just as Polish foot soldiers were forming outside Baltica, they recieved word from the leader of the Balticans that they had reconsidered thier offer to join Poland. Most believe the sudden change of heart was a direct result of having 4/5 of the Polish Army at thier border.
Plague, drought, and hunger hit the Nok Kingdom. Following a 4 year drought in many places, much of the Nok wheat is dried up. The only farms remain in limited portions up north. Many people either rely on fish or have starved (-1 economy level, luckily you decided to grow economy this turn). Also, to add to thier troubles, a horrible plague has broken out. It kills 1/5 of its victims and has taken a heavy toll on the army (-1 level). The only good thing to come of this is the fast expansion it has caused. Thousands of families are leaving thier homes to search for new lands ripe for farming.
King Phillip rose to the throne of the Kingdom of Macedonia, through brutal destruction of his enemies. He has taken the most of Greece and is expanding into Slavic lands.
Kingdom of Sicily formed in Southern Italy. They have taken some of southern Italy, Sicily, and the tip of Tunis. They have shown thier disinterest in expanding into Europe.
As the borders of China and True China begin to collide, thier is increasing pressure from the Chinese populace to war with True China.
Siam formed in South East Asia! So far they have managed to take Vietname and most of Thailand under thier rule.
Uzebek tribes advance on Kazakhstan! After many years of expansion and ignoring the problem, Kazakhstan has been put in a hole that will be hard to dig out of. Through over expansion, Kazakhstan's military has been strained to cover all areas of the country. Seeing this, the cunning barbs attacked from the south. They are advancing fast and dont seem to be slowing.
Trade Nation of Oman founded in Muscat. Thier nation is much like Phoenicia in that it focuses on trade to enrich thier nation and a strong navy to keep the trade open. As of right now, even as the two nations compete vigerously to gain trade, Phoenician goods still hold more value.

The English were divided. The Wales were pushing in from the west, but expansion was happening to the north.
They were still divided, nonetheless. That is, untill General Chris from the London region shocked England, when he attacked other English settlements, uniting them under the power that is London.
Now, England is a dicatorship, ruled by General Chris.

Ceremonial Priest were adcancing side-by-side with the regular troops. singing prayers to the gods the great mayan army advanced towards the big cities. the goal was to stop the advancing olmecs before starting a big counter attack.

Even with the resistance of the various infidel tribes, expansion was going well for California. They had anticipated that there growth would be resisted, for the Great Creator had tasked them not with peacefully growing the nation but with destroying the barbarian non-believers. And so it was decided: all the nation's resources would be concentrated on defeating and annexing these infidels. The priority list was set as San Franciscans, followed by Apache, followed by Comanche and then the Sioux. The Californians decided the best way to fight these tribes was one at a time with the full force of the army concentrated on each one, while making peace with the others through trade and a halt of expansion into their lands. And so, with a rousing speech from Chief Mendez and a week of prayers and rituals from the Grand High Priests, the Californian armies, spearheaded by the mighty Angelistas, began to march on the infidel city-state of San Francisco.

The Cheif watched as the Nok were slowly ding. The drought had killed many. Food had to be found and quickly. Many said there was food to the north and others said to the south. Both agreed food would be along the coast. Many new fishermen would be fishing this year as fish would have to substitute for the drought.
