For some reason, I was able to start downloading early.

You have to restert Steam to make it happen.

I didn't have to restart Stream, but my client was closed and I reopened it, so this likely caused a refresh.

I haven't ordered and probably won't buy for a long time (I have a heart surgery to fade first, for one thing). But I will be eagerly reading all reports and hoping they will whet my appetite for the game.
