SteamDB: "Bison" Depot??

So after some googling it seems that a lot of European gaming sites have released information about the Complete Edition today, most of which we already know but this one caught my eye:

Previously issued as part of the Double Civilization and Scenario Pack: Spain and Inca, the new Deluxe Scenario players can enjoy a larger number of civilizations, extensive Social Policies and Tech Tree, a new Victory Point system and a choice of new buildings, wonders, resources and more.

Firaxis is in Baltimore, I believe. I'm not sure how software is released, but I'd consider that to be more to do with 2k games and Steam than with Firaxis. I've seen a few references to today being the release date, others to Friday and quite a few "coming soon" - even yesterday. Civilization's facebook page posted an advisor of the week article yesterday, but no mention of Civ Complete or the scenario, which just seems quite strange.
Yeah, Kate said today in the US, friday in Europe. Often things are released on tuesday in the US and on friday in Europe, as said due to distribution in the real world (which I think is really silly).
From my experience, Steam unlocks/releases games at 19:00 European time (in three hours from now). Don't know if it's the same with the DLC though. Especially as there's no mention of Civ5Complete on Steam.

Indeed, here's a Dutch source, but no real info:

I sent a tweet to Kate yesterday (no response yet) to ask if anyone outside the US already had BNW, would they have to wait until Friday for the scenario or would it be available today. As those of us with BNW aren't actually buying anything, you never know. I'm trying to remember when individual civ DLC was available, was it split in the same way? I seem to recall that it had a worldwide release, so I'm hoping the same for the scenario.

At last a screenshot to investigate and I see Bison!

Kotaku have just posted a news item and had this screenshot. Do you see the Bison in Te Moak? What's the wigwam-type improvement in the other city?

Yes, and tipis in the other city. Great find!

The tipis must be a new UI of the Shoshone. Again, this points to and indicates there will be no new civs - or else the tipis would probably go for a new indian civ.

Maybe a tipi improvement for the Shoshone replacing the Comanche Riders ? Because it looks like it's on a regular Plains here, so probably not tied to a resource.

And yeah, funny that after all the speculation about the Codename, there actually is a Bison resource.

Pete Murray says more civs and new mechanics from expands will be in the scenario. Religion and trade routes for example. Via Twitter.

Yep, they're here. Actually in a northern suburb, Hunt Valley. I'm always tempted to run over there and pester them at times like this. Or ask them when the heck we'll get MP mod support. But I never do :P

Workshops? Where? Note that both tipis are on pains. Coincidence? 1.5 hours of guessing tipis ability :-) Plains only, +1 food, +2 food extra if built on a bison. Or maybe that would be too strong a UI.

Do we know what unit is there on the left side? I don't recall it.

Te-Moak is building a workshop in 54 turns and there is a camp on the bison ressource, no tipi :p

Woo! Screenshot! Here're my takes on it:
#1 - So there actually ARE bison! I'd assume they're a new bonus resource; the question is, will they be added to the base game? (If so, they'd make Plains starts much less boring.)
#2 - That Tipi thing is probably just in the scenario as a UI for the Shoshone (or "plains natives", or whatever) that'll replace the Comanche Rider.
#3 - I think whoever said the Shoshone Archer unit visible on the left side of the screen has more "fur" on is right. The texture does look different, at least to me.

I think they are simply archers.

Bison resource made me laugh after all these "Bison" name speculations

By the way, I didn't expect new civ.

When is the release date?
