What are requirements for this promotion, not counting the one from AV shrine? From what I remember I've been only able to give it to Hyborem. I've checked civilopedia, xienwolf's manual and checked promotions.xml too and the only requirement I could find is combat V. But none of my regular combat V units ever got the option for it. What am I missing here?

hmm, I think that only demons can have it, or units build in city with AV shrine. If I remember correctly my Saverous got it in one game.

You can also use the Infernal Grimoire for a chance of gaining the demon race promotion. Demonic Valin Phanuel is quite fearsome.

Grrr, I've checked the xml more thoroughly this time and found this:

Guess it explains everything.

Well, I don't know if this is up-to-date, but...

I've had Stigmata on units that have CombatIII. (Or maybe CombatIV or Combat V, can't remember exactly; been so busy with RL that I haven't played FfH for a few weeks. I think I'm sufferin withdrawal symptoms.) So, if that's still up-to-date, that's nother way to get it.

Is wat I suggested still accurate? In other words, is it up-to-date atm?

Edit: I checked and we're still on patch 'l'. So, I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that I'm correct.

You need both. A demon with the appropriate combat level= Stigmata ripe for the buying.

You can also get it by building the unit in the City with Stigmata on the Unborn (Veil Shrine).
