Ummm.....where am I on the map?

sorry jason, orders were given in a rush last time, won't happen again. BTW, Moscow should be up a bit, on the river, but I guess he could be Ryazan or something...

Orders:
300 archers and 300 spearmen expand and explore North West, do not subjugate people we find, but instead be friendly and set up good relations with them
Build roads and begin trading with the people we find (increase economy)
Begin building a big fortress right on the coast (where present day St. Petersburg is) This huge fort will be there for defense of the city in times of attack and also will open up the opportunity for sea-travel and trade because of the docks it will have in it. (Wonder: Morskoy Gorod, +2 army, +1 navy, +1 economy from sea trade)

Jason. Contempt country is BADLY missplaced. Karakuran is a bit south of the mongolian lake... And not north to India.

Jason The King said:
Feanor: could u change your nation name to maybe Brittania or something? Brittany is confusing, as it is a province in France.
Sure, Feel free to change my nation and my queen's name to Brittannia.
Two Questions, how comes that my Economy dropped? i though economies only dropped if you spent it more than once. (for example you could Buy more Spearmen 1x without dropping a level)
And will there Be Unique Units?

Its hard to attach Tripolye to any particular areas, Jason, so you can keep it wherever you put it. ;)

Btw, for solidarity's sake, change my government to "Knyazdom" as well.

The Mother of all Wonders of the World
Stonehenge
Once upon a time a druid came to Queen Britannia III, he told the queen that he was the eldest of druids and that the druidic council decreed that a the Queen needed to build a huge monument in honor of the Gods, when this monument would be finished her kingdom would be blessed with fertility but if she refused then the gods will curse her kingdom and her kingdom would crumble.

Queen Britannia III, fearing the gods wrath, immediately ordered to supply the druids all materials and manpower needed for the task, at the time she had no idea how much this great monument would cost, if she did she might have risked the wrath of the gods, especially since the druids were building this Monument in a forest in the middle of nowhere on lands she did not even control, but once started it would be a true waste of resources too stop this project.

Before the Stonehenge project begun the whole of Salisbury Plain was a forest of towering pines and hazel woodland. Stonehenge is being built in three phases. The first stage is a circle of timbers surrounded by a ditch and bank.

Phase 1

The second stage will be build in Stone, bluestones will be used. These will come from from mountains far away, mountains only known to druids, the stones will be dragged down to the sea, floated on huge rafts, brought up the River Avon, finally overland to where they will be laid.

Phase 2
The third and final stage of the momunment will be to place even bigger stones than the bluestones. These giant sandstones will be hammered to size using balls of stone known as ‘mauls'. Each pair of stones will need to be heaved upright and linked on the top by the lintels. To get the lintels to stay in place, the most advaces wood working techniques will be used. Making joints in stone, linking the lintels in a circular manner using a tongue and groove joint, and subsequently the upright and lintel with a ball and socket joint or mortice and tenon.

Phase 3

Austria

For many centuries, the land that is now Austria was home to well over a dozen bickering Magyr & Celtic tribes. Warfare was constant between the two, the Celtic preferring more outright bloody warfare while the Magyrs relied on fortifications and strategy more. Still, neither side could conquer the other, and peace had a snowballs chance in hell.

Then they came.

Barbarians_conquer_Rome.jpg

They came in swarms, thousands at a time. At first they overwhelmed the Magyr and Celtic clans of the north, who of course were fighting at the time. They brought an unseem unity in their fighting, conquering swaths of land before they finally were stopped. Still, there was no way the Celts & Magyrs could continue thier bickering and stave off the now titled "Germanians". So the obvious decision was made, and the Celtic & Magyr tribes united for a time to fight the Germanians. Magyr fortifications were built along the borders first, while Celtic warriors made the front line of the armies. Magyr strategists devised a plan for the very brutish Germanians, and noticed they always attacked the same way. A big rush of soldiers to the target village. A plan was designed to make the Germanians rush towards an empty village, where the Celtic and Magyr warriors would surround them on all sides and archers would snipe them from a distance.

The plan was a success, the main army of the Germanians was decimated and they retreated back to thier homelands. Celtic and Magyr unification now seemed not only possible, but needed. There were further reports of more Germanians named "Bavarians" and perhaps more people like them in other directions. So they united under a Magyr ruler, the first ruler of the newly decided nation of Austria, King Rupert. He was a fair ruler, expanding the realm to the old northern regions, and the economy of Austria flourished under his rule. When he died, a Celtic ruler was chosen to the throne. Wolfgang was considered more of a military ruler, and that he is, as he leaves a series of advisors to....well, advise him on what he should do in domestic type issues. Wolfgang, a brilliant strategist in military terms, is currently working on a book of warfare. It hopes to teach the Austrian military the strategies of an efficient war machine.

Orders
-increase archers
-expand west along the Danube with 100 spearmen and 50 archers
-expand east along the Danube with 100 spearmen and 50 archers
-begin wonder, Wolfgang's Art of War (+2 increase in spearmen, +1 increase in chariots, +1 increase in archers)

Alright I can tell you now that fantasamos country should be up about 1000kms along the coastline. That is where Brisbane is. You kinda have Sydney instead.

Story will be tommorrow so I have time to think of one.

ooc: Thanks Jason I didnt see the whole update schedule til just then.

Stories will begin tommorrow for Java.

Until then my orders are simple

Grow economy by building farms in the rich volcanic earth (yes I know that will bite me one day soon)
Expand and take over the rest of the island. Use the Galesy to help achieve this.
10 Galleys instead of helping the expansion efforts and to scout out the islands around Indonesia and mark out good spots for quick colonisation (Makes it easier for me to spread out through the islands next turn, might involve maps and thus I would need to learn how to actually write as well ;)

Who do I have contact with so far?

sheep: no one.

Everyone else concerned about Karakorum: http://www.prophezeiungen-zur-zukunft-europas.de/images/Karakorum.jpg.

That is the map I went off of. But if you want to be in Mongolia, then I will move u to there.

Two Questions, how comes that my Economy dropped? i though economies only dropped if you spent it more than once. (for example you could Buy more Spearmen 1x without dropping a level)
And will there Be Unique Units?

Your thinking eqnes. For stJNES's, it costs one economy for one thing. UU's will come later, possibly in Iron Age.

JJ and I quote first from C3C editor:
C3C said:
Capital of Mongolia: Karakuram

And what Contempt said when he joined

Steppes, at Karakorum. I'll spin the Mongol angle to something more...intresting.

Rest my case :)
