Of course! I'm sending 100 commercial workers to your city now protected by 20 soldiers.

To:Athens and Thessalonica
From:Miletus

We'd also like to begin trade via sea with your fine cities as soon as we have enough tradesmen.

To:Troy

Great,we'll start building the road soon.

Miletus orders:
-begin building the road to Troy
-spend 5,000,000 Drachmen (aka 5g) for 100 commercial workers
-use 700 men as industry workers
-send 1,000 men to colonize the islands northwest and west of Miletus, transported with 3 ships
-6 ships protect the coast
-2,500 men and all artillery take the city north of us
-1,000 men take over the surrounding areas
-500 men in Miletus
-3g banked

many people didnt get cities they wanted to attack last turn. This is because not enough expansion happened. Most people will take cities this turn, though.

NPC Diplomacy

OOC

Melitus got double expansion because I forgot to expand it last time.

Trading was a big hassle for me this turn. Please, remember you have to say to put 100 commercial workers per country you trade with. It gets very confusing if you don’t, and remember you have to have a trade route.

TNG, please reedit your orders if you like to change it. Its confusing to read them more then once and try and figure out what you changed in 10 seconds, lol. Thanks :).

Xerxes stared from his Anatolia palace, a newly constructed one just for this one appearance.

His empire stretched to be the largest and most powerful in the world. However, he lacked good land that a good empire needs. He sought this good land in Europe.

The gateway to Europe was through Greece. While the Persian outnumbered the Greeks 10 to 1, they were stead-fast fighters and knew their land.

However, the greeks were split, he thought, into many different states. If he was able to invade at the right moment, he may be able to destroy them with limited casualties.

There was one state that Xerxes especially feared, Sparta. They had proven themselves evolved and powerful fighters, taking two other cities twice the size of Sparta within a week, and without losses more then 50. This frightened Xerxes. Would Sparta be a better ally or foe, he thought.

To Sparta
From Xerxes, King of the Persians

I know you have heard of me. I am King of the mightiest nation on Earth. I come to you with a proposal, as we deem you a honorable race.

Know that we can destroy you within months. However, to avoid this costly war, we offer you an alliance of any terms, offensive and defensive. Take it or leave it.
