stJNESX: From Bad to Good

OOc my eocnomy should be stable as I grown it and said how :) I belive I should also have a *???? after all I did conquered all of the important parts of Rome!

The Empire of Takir

The Shang dynesty brought much into Takir... A writen language, more lands, more men, and more important the feared Ching gaurd. It was a spearmen group but highly trained and since iron age was introduced they were using pikes rather than spears. Iron age brought the iron smelting into Takir and the empire was searchign for iron sources.

In the Roman province civil war raged. The Roman opennly rebelled against Takir. The army held but needed better guidness to defeate this rebelles. The emperor decision was to asign the great takirian general Mui Su, son to the family of general Lai Ti, the general who commanded the conquest of Rome. Mui Su was a wariar from birth, his family was highly miliateristic and all it's sons were raised on the words of war and all were great generals in the takirian army. Mui Su took command of 300 New Swordmen that were trained thanks to the new iron weopenry and moved from the north into the Roman province. The first move was a march into Vurucin the takirian city in the italian province. already most of it was takirian but on the outskirts many roman villages stood. The Army marched first into the villages searching for ring leaders and people who spread the rebellion, if any was found they would be put to death. After reaching Vurucin Mui Su commanded the army to amrch south destorying the rebellions and espaicaly killing the rebellions leaders. After reaching Rome they would stay and keep the ROman province quite destorying any Roman new try for rebellion. After Rome would be taken 100 spearmen would join the 300 swordmen under the command of Mui Su. All this to keep the quite.

In the west a group of lord went with an open rebellion. They had no reason. 100 Spearmen were sent in to stop the small rebellion and to neither kill the lords who don't give up or make them sworn loyality to the new Emperor Sim Ching grandson of Nuch Ching. The rest of the army was preapering in Takir for other plans.

I have a VERY bad feeling about this.

Shouldn't my wonder be 3/4 now?

To Wu
From China
We offer u a NAP.

To Korgyuro
From China
We offer you a peace treaty at present borders.

Kingdom of China

"My Emperor, Rebellious Lords and Nobles have declared 2 seperate states, Shang, and Titsu. What do we do? Son of Heaven?"

"Fools, they will feel the wrath of the Dragon Emperor, also send a message to Shu, I know that they are eyeing our lands. But of course we'll attempt negotiation with the nobles first. Summon General Fing-Shi to me. Ready out the armies, prepare the horsemen, dun bother with the chariots. Take the horses and ride them! To Battle"!

On the balcony of the Imperial Palace.....

"Citizens of China, I ask you, you understand that China is at war with 3 nations. 2 of them are under control of Nobles whom has forced their peasants into the Army to fight for their defense against the Wrath of Heaven. They wish that I disband the court, and let all of you back into your meaniful existance. I ask you now, will you fight for your rights and freedom? Or will you falter and surrender to the nobles who wants to put you in chains and work you to death?"

"NO, Long Live China! Long Live the Dragon Emperor! For Freedom!"

Back in the Imperial Palace....

"General Fing-Shi, you have saved China from the Koreans, I wish that you lead the army against the Traitorious Lords and Barons who wishes to take back the rights of the peasants and put them in chains and work. If you accept, you will be awarded handsomely with land and money. If you refuse, you will still be given some for your victory against the Koreans."

"Taizu Huangdi, i will accept your offer and command the army that is to be led against the Traitorious Lords and Barons. However, it shall not be done out of greed or lust for gold or any rare metal. But in the defense of my country, and countrymen. To defend the liberties and rights of the Common Man. I, General Fing-Shi swears to forever fight for Chinese culture, and peace. I will not hear of anymore rewards and wealth my Emperor, Good Bye, i will be heading to the army." Fing-Shi steps out...

"That is a true Chinese heart, he desires to truely aid China, not out of wealth or power, but out of national pride. The Chinese Kingdom will not so easily falter! Scribe, i want you to make copies of wat Fing-Shi said, and distribute them all over China. Then tell the peasants that to defend their rights, 1 in every 20 men must go to war! And so it begins.....!"

From Akkadia

Continue the invasion

From Akkadia
To Assyria

Surrender now and we shall allow your state autonomy in the Akkadian Federation.

Ты блять, ебонатик чренов, какого нафиг черта все это случилось? За один чод две страны псу под хвост.

ок, done.
Story and orders a bit later

To Hanseatic:
We thank you for your help, but it appears you have enough of your own problems at the moment. We will continue the war with the Huns, and if you have any support you could give us it would be apreciated.

OOC: Aw, come on! Why is Attila alive ALREADY? It better be another Hunnic fellow with a similar name… I also understand that that Mongolian little nation in… uh… Mongolia (?) scared them away, right?

Agamemnon? Odd name for the King of Assyria.

Btw, I’d want this to continue, at the very least, until AD. Speaking of which, is it possible for this early Christianity to be different due to the different politics? Will it be possible for Christianity never to appear? Or maybe there will be some other religion instead of it?

Suggestion for Nuion – make a bolder border around all the four states (the border of Nuion), or make thinner borders between them.

Ты блять, ебонатик чренов, какого нафиг черта все это случилось? За один чод две страны псу под хвост.

Jason just wouldn't be Jason if he won't throw various nations to hell with barbarian invasions. But I agree that it probably feels quite bad if it happens to you.

IC:

Many battles were fought, and always Canaan was the victor. And always, a battle was followed by pain for those few Assyrians who were taken alive. Much pain. Odreath himself tortured them to death, even if they confessed and revealed all the secrets of Assyria. At first, this was hidden and secret, but eventually it became clear and known, and Assyrians did all they could to avoid capture. Nevertheless, after it was decided that nothing would be lost from killing and torturing the Assyrians in public, most of the Canaanite soldiers didn’t mind as torturing enemies was a part of all the Canaanite cultures, if unapproved by the priests.

Odreath consolidated his power rather traditionally. He killed off any opposition and purged both real and invisible threats. Luckily for him and for Canaan, General Zidonnibal, the best general of Canaanite army, supported Odreath and was not suspected in anything that could damage Odreath’s grip on power.

And so, while Odreath’s reign of terror continued, so did Zidonnibal’s offensive against Assyria.

Diplo:

From: Canaan
To: Egypt

Ofcourse.

Orders:
- Make sure all of our Hyksos Chariots have iron spears. Do not change the UU yet.
- Finish the wonder (6/6).
- Plunder and pillage the Assyrian territory under our control. We need more gold!
- Send geologists to search for iron in former Hittite lands. Come on, there must be some there!
- Have our slaves work in forges and in other industries that will help us increase our military.
- Raise more Hyksos Chariots (once).
- Raise more swordsmen (once).
- Zidonnibal and Odreath will lead the offensive against Assyria with all forces. Odreath will wield Kara Baali. Now that the Legend of Kara Baali is completed, it will raise the moral of ours troops even better. Our offensive’s goals are to meet up with the Akkadians. We will move southeast, thus. Watch out for ambushes! If such happen, the spearmen and the swordsmen are to quickly jump to protect our flanks, protecting the chariots and archers. If the enemy confronts us in the open, then use the following tactics:
- Here are our battle tactics (for an open battle. We will stay clear of swamps, and all the rest in Mesopotamia is more or less open fields/deserts, I think): First, we need to locate the enemy. Send a scout to locate him. Then, we enter the formation. Build a line of spearmen against the enemy formation. Hopefully we will find some higher ground like a hill, but that is not necessary. Behind them, we will place our archers. The swordsmen shall be placed in the left flank. The Hyksos Chariots on the right flank. The next part requires all the famed skill of our chariot crews to pull it off. The Assyrians will probably not attack us (if they do, then its their problem – the archers will just slaughter them as they charge, and those who survive the arrows will suddenly realize that their guts are on our spears). So, we need to provoke them. Our Hyksos chariots will charge at the enemy, so that they are prepared to fight. Then, suddenly, we turn the chariots around (I know its difficult, but our crews are very experienced and should be able to pull it off) and retreat towards our swordsmen. Hopefully the Assyrians will think we noticed one of their nobles or something and got scared. Remember that the second man in every chariot will cover the retreat with his spear if anyone tries to come close. Anyway, I expect the Assyrians to try and pursue our chariots with theirs. When our chariots are half-way towards our formation, they are to turn around again and charge the enemy chariots. In the same time all of our archers will fire at the enemy chariots, while our swordsmen, led by Odreath himself, wielding Kara Baali, will charge at the enemy formation and ignore their archers (equip large round shields to protect us from ranged damage). Hopefully we will be able to crush their chariots, but if the battle gets tough then the spearmen will join the fight against the enemy chariots. Once our swordsmen reach the enemy formations, they are to throw away their shields so that they do not hinder them in the battle. Remember, the enemy doesn’t have spearmen, and even if they got some now, they don’t have much experience when compared to ours. Our swordsmen will fight ferociously, due to the effect of Kara Baali. We should try to get to their archers as soon as possible. By then I expect the enemy chariots to be finished, and the rest of our army will join the fight. Don’t forget to torture the enemy nobles!

stjNES5 had the worst barb invasion i have ever seen, lets just hope this aint that bad....

Nations on the frontier of civilization will generally get barbarian trouble.

Metaliturtle, I mentioned in the update which is north and which is south so I wouldn't have to describe the colors, lol.

Erez, okay.

Alex, if you continued it, then yes. but you didnt.

Agamemnon, since he couldnt rule Akkadia, ran to Assyria :). Edit: the whole update, it was suppose to be Hammarabi, not agamamnon! damnit!

Attila is the one you know. So he came a little early, I am not running this NES to be historically accurate. And no, they were not scared by the Mongols. They instead decided to take the wealth of Europe, starting with the trading mecca of Novgorod.

agamemnon is a ruler in greece, the leader in the trojan wars

Look how small my nation is, its giving me a confidance problem

SHU

Liu Bang held the message from China:

"It appears China is having some inner struggles with uppity warlords, and external forces. tell the Chinese we will help them for primary trade rights, a NAP, and annexation rights of the smaller of the two break-aways. Make sure they know we are particularily interested in this 'court system.' "

Meanwhile, Liu Bei, in his consistent effort to gather people around him, has also gathered a very cheap labor force, and his literal 'cottage industry' has grown to most cottages in the villiage. Different people have begun experimenting with new materials, resulting in vastly improved mats at lower prices. Combining this with the influx of artisans in Cheng du, the Shu economy is beginning to boom.

Diplomacy sum-up
To China: We will help you eradicate the usurpers if you offer us trade agreements before other nations, grant us a Non Aggression Pact, and after we defeat the warlords together, grant us the southernmost break-away territory as our own. Of course we will offer you the same trade agreement, as well as a shipment of fine Shu sleeping mats, of which there is no better quality.

Orders sum-up
Shu economy improves due to new mat industry

To Shu
From China *secret*
How about this instead?: We grant you primary trading rights after the war, and you get the larger breakaway state. And didn't we already sign a NAP? If not, we'll sign one as well. May Heaven be with us!

From: Gujarat

No.

(OOC: Was that just to gain my attention to the game again? Because you did a good job on that.)

To: Aryans and Dravidia
From: Gujarat

The stability and peace of our region has lasted for centuries. The lands are bountiful, the crops flourishing, and all our people love peace.

However, a new menace has invaded the Indus: The Persians. They are totally unlike us; they have different gods, ideals, and so on. They are intent on conquest and the disruption of all trade and peace in the Indus river valley, and appear hellbent on destruction, even having the gall to settle on lands that they don't properly own, but occupy, oppressing the natives in the meantime. Could you aid us in beating them back, before we all may succumb.

Nations on the frontier of civilization will generally get barbarian trouble.

Its good that Canaan is in the nice and cuzy Middle East, surrounded by civilizations who will get all the trouble of fending off barbarians for themselves. But knowing Jason, I'm not safe either... ;)

Edit: the whole update, it was suppose to be Hammarabi, not agamamnon! damnit!

LOL.

Attila is the one you know. So he came a little early, I am not running this NES to be historically accurate. And no, they were not scared by the Mongols. They instead decided to take the wealth of Europe, starting with the trading mecca of Novgorod.

I don't ask you to make this historically accurate. But scientifically accurate it should be! There is only a 1% chance that the same Attila as in our world would be born in a different one AND two thousand years earlier. Therefore its a different one. And how exactly did the Huns even HEAR about Europe if they were in Mongolia at that time (circa 2000 BC or whenever this NES started)? Thus, they had no stimul for moving west, unless somebody threw them out (then again, Attila could've gotten high... I mean, could've received a prophetic vision and could've decided to go west and pillage somebody).

To China: We down

das... think that everything with huns in Mongolia happand 2000 years ealier... so Hun migration begun 2000 years later. thats all :)

WAT?!?!?! That means the mongols will come in around 600 BC?!?!? Erez, watch for wat ur saying.

the reason they ivnaded CHina was an insult from china by what i know, not cuase they wanted, so... you didn't insulted them it won't happan yet.
