PIRATS!!! Immediately the entire village was in turmoil. Everybody tried to take as much as he could carry and run towards the hills. It was not the first time the village had been raided. The Mediterranean Sea was not free from pirats. They suddenly came, pillaged one or two coastal villages and withdrew again. The authorities couldn´t do much about them and since the damage done was only limited, they didn´t care too much. But this time it wasn´t a little pirate trireme. A Cypriot Wargalley had entered the gulf at which the Minoans had built their little village. Soldiers were unload and immediately entered a strange arrow-like formation. They were Cypriot Hoplites, one of the finest infantry on the in the Mediterranean. Iron discipline and best equipment - They were the most important part of the Cypriot army.
The formation approached the village. Only the cries of a left behind baby and the cackling of the chicken showed that some minutes ago this had been a very active place. In routine the soldiers checked every single house. The doors were broke, the blankets torn apart and every chest was opened. Apart from some elders who were too old to run there were ten virgins found in the house of the chieftain. They were immediatley brought back to the ship. Then the soldiers started to gather everything of value. Jewelry, supplies, some chicken - almost everything. When they were done, every house was set to fire. When the villagers would return, they would see that they had been totally devasted.
Similar raids occured everywhere along the western coast of Crete. Numberless villages were attacked, the inhabitants enslaved, their possesions stolen and their homes burned. Soon the people feared to live at the coast. Some even left their villages in hope to find a better life inland. Others just built temporary settlements in the hills, waiting for the end of the raids, or the arriving of the Minoan army. But this army just didn´t come.

My poor Massilia! Gone while I was away 
Oh well, they left a bit behind. The Kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica will triumph!
Anyway...
Sardinia and Corsica
Fleeing the remnants of the defeated Kingdom of Massilia, the Massilian royal family found refuge on the one place still under their control -- the islands of Sardinia and Corsica. On Sardinia, the royal family quickly builot a new palace on the heights above the city of Caralis and vowed to reestablish their nation as a powerful one.
Having lost the ancient and glorious capital city, the nation could no longer continue as Massilia, and so a change of name was in order. For lack of creativity, the Queen chose to rename her nation Sardinia and Corsica -- a new name for a fresh start.

Build a new city, Aleria, on the island of Corsica.
Begin a Wonder, the Royal Halls at Caralis (+2 Culture, +2 Economy)
Upgrade our economy.

One that is not good enough as I need my stats to be updated to reflect the rest of my orders as well. Two I cannot see how a weakened army that is facing starvation from seige would be able to kill two for one soldiers when the soldiers they kill have better techonolgy. Please be realisitc. I find it annoying that you missed my orders, but to have this slap on the face for a so called fix is undescribable.
