The Danish Army has invaded Germany! The Danes have struck from Belgium into the industrial region of Germany, in the Ruhr and have destroyed the factories there. Though the German Army was able to push the Danes back to the Belgian border, the damage inflicted in the Ruhr will take a while to repair, and German industry and economy has suffered a big hit.
Contacts with the Belgian Resistance have informed us that the Danes are offering concession of autonomy to Belgians if they help them regain their homeland. The bribe effort has been largely unsuccessful, and instead of joining the Danish troops, more people have joined the Resistance.

Chengdu Times - September 2nd
Democratic Party Militia has taken over Chengdu, and have declared their intention to restore the old Parliamentary Republic. So far, this Democratic Revolution has not spread outside of Chengdu and has little support outside the city as the vast majority of the people are more than satisfied with the Communist regime. Reason for the small popular support is that the government has already begun extensive democratic reform more than a month ago and the general response of the public is that the Democratic Party wouldn't even exist if the Government had not permitted.
Zourat News - September 17th
The West African Republic is no more. Sadly, the Communist movement has overtaken that young democracy. Loyalist troops continue resisting, but Monrovia has already come into Communist hands. The President and his Ministers have fled to Palermo, in Italy, and created a Provisional Government.

Zourat News - September 25th
The Zulus have invaded Nubia. Though Communist propaganda has been spread among the Nubian Army to desert, none left the front and fought bravely against the invader. However, the force was overwhelming and 4,000,000 against 1,200,000 is no contest. Literally within hours, the Zulu armies occupied the entire country and slaughtered the royal family. The less-popular of the two Communist parties in Nubia, the Nubian African Communist Party, was given the reins of power. However, the other, more nationalistic Communist party is leading a civilian resistance to the new government which is a puppet of Zululand.
Somalia, Mauritania, and Libya have all declared war on Zululand for their aggression against their allies.

Belgians! The Danes are occupying our country! They are trying to get us to fight for them in exchange for pitiful concessions! Stand up and fight in the countryside!

The Minister of Internal Affairs, one of the hardliners, said, "This time we were lucky [the Democrats] had little support. But what about next time? Will we be able to maintain control next time?"
Paris Gazette - November 30th
USNA troops have managed to invade on the western coast. The USNA's submarines were sent ahead of the navy and the invasion force and managed to destroy some of the mines, providing a corridor, albeit narrow, for the invading ships. Some of the USNA fleet did not manage to fit and was sunk by mines, along with 500,000 troops. The French had already set up coastal defenses and, though aerial bombardment destroyed some, the French troops still managed to resist and in the ensuing battle, a quarter of the invasion force was defeated, but a substantial coastal amount of land was secured.
Monterrey Times - December 19th
Revolution has broken out across the USNA among the American people against the European-dominated government in protest of both its attempt to stamp out American culture and the call to join the army. Since 90% of the population is American, the new government's laws have been hated by most of the nation and the American Nationalists are successfully gaining control of the country. This success is also easy because the vast majority of troops is in Europe.
