StKNES4: Battle Scars

That might be so,but that'd be like using 1 economy 2 times..I wonder, would Britain's economy take a hit should Denmark use it?

I was wondering, would GERMANY´s economy take a hit due to a long and massive war?

The Danes brought money with them. They didn't leave empty-handed. Whatever is marked in Denmark's stats as "using Britain's" means that Britain is permitting them to use their stuff, such as currently research.
Denmark can't increase economy on its own: it needs British support now. So if Britain does not want to fund it after a while, then the Danish Exile treasury will be stagnating and will not be able to grow.
So Britain and Denmark are in a symbiotic relationship now, though Denmark relies on Britain more than the British do on their exile guests. Any spike in British economy can cause an upward surge in Danish economy. If Britain's productivity rises then so does that of Denmark since it's using Britain's industries as well.

we'll see about that
'stares coldly at puny prisoners he captured'
if you do against amazing odds manage to take back the land then there will be very little left

[ooc] Kamilian, why is it that I conquered Denmark but there wasn't any treasury for me to take?

"The Germans will crush any resistance like insects." reply to Iceeye

Diplo to London
What are you doing? Why are you interfering in the politics of your neighbors? Did not Denmark invade Belgium as well? You are only moving Britain towards a war that it should have no part in.
---------

Diplo to World

Germany is selling it's technologies to other nation for 3 eco. per piece.
------

To exile laughables & London
------------------------------
Denmark will always be a part of Germany from now on, we are not agressors - but this is our rightful land and people. Should you ever return there will be nothing to reclaim. On the other side of the coin is for Denmark to admit it's a part of Germany and become a part of our great country.

To Scandinavia
Respect northern neighbors whom Germany has signed a pact of non-agression with. The actions of your satellite state Britain is most vexing, it has taken in a lawless bunch of Danish politicians. Normally the Air Force of my country would turn London into dust, but we respect the Scandinavians. You may expect to receive some payment if you deal effectively with this outrageous action of your servant. If not, then it is treachery for one can not trust a nation that does not keep to it's agreement of no-agression. Your satellite is harboring my enemy. Throw him out of your house and beat him up, he is not your friend nor should he be. The exiles in Denmark are losers and should be burnt on stakes. Why are you even letting the Britains dictate Northern Europe policies? Britain must be taught a lesson, but out of our respect for Scandinavia we shall not intrude on your sovereign territory.

To Danes in Denmark
--------------------
Resist and all of you will die horrible deaths.
Cooperate, ignore your nationalism and Germany will allow you to become a part of her and flourish. Harsh measures, but not fatal ones, are to be taken immediately. Cooperate and you will have friends, family, brother and sister and a proper life to look forward to. In but a few years things will be much for the better for all of you if Germany learns she can trust her new citizens.

If not you will see all die, a country will lie in ruins, brother and sister will be slaughtered, more of this 'massive resistance' or anything like it or worse and Germany will have no mercy, not on anyone, for she has tired of this war! Most likely you have too, we all want to get on with our lives.
Do you love the silly nationalism you have for 'Denmark', or do you love your family and friends? Choose wisely, for all that you know depends on it. Oppose your exile government if you love your child.

Summarization
Germany will take harsh and drastic but not fatal measures to ensure that the exile government nor Britain or anyone else retakes Denmark or invades Germany to do so.
Cooperate and your lives will slowly improve with the amount of effort you put in.
Resist and see everyone you have ever known be butchered slowly in front of you if possible.
Retake Denmark in a surprise rebellion and Germany will return, if but it takes a year like last time and butcher every single living being!

The time of war and resistance has passed. The time has come to choose life or death, for you and your family and your friends. The retributions are to be scaled down per death of a german soldier but do not make the mistake of thinking my patience has not worn extremely thin.

(that last part got a bit gung-ho... I dunno... oh well)

To London

Your actions have caused more grievances for the Danish people, halt and rethink.

1) But the Danes were just in Belgium...? I didn't know there were any 10-20 eco. points of money in Denmark waiting to be hauled away to exile, I think looting the national bank should pretty much be default. I know that sounds wrong, but if you think about it I'm right. Why wouldn't my generals seize the 200 tons of gold in the vault?

2) Denmark used to be a 0/4 economy before I invaded, when I took it over after some fierce bombing I went to 3/5, quite generous - but not even half as profitable as keeping Denmark like a satellite state and garnishing their entire income.

3) Sooo uh... can I take whatever's left of valuables in Denmark that they didn't take with them to Belgium-Denmark...?

4) (whiny) How did they get through my panzer batallions in the Ruhr-area?

5) Can I use parts of the Danish population as forced labor to repair the damage IceEye did? and so on etc. like in my order?

6) Is there any way to kill off IceEye's PC status as Denmark?

7) Can I turn it into a satellite economy? Small countries amassing their economy seems much more powerful to me in virtually all NES's.
(sorry 'bout the quadruple-posting, diplo. got messy)

You silence is not pleasing. Will Russia and Central Asia withdrew its troops from Tibet or not?

What are you talking about in Belgium? They withdrew and got peace.
About the money, do you think that the government would just leave all the valuables for you? They'd take at least some. Plus, it should be clear already that many Danes hate you, so in response to your last question, why wouldn't Danish bankers and others hide the money?

2) Denmark used to be a 0/4 economy before I invaded, when I took it over after some fierce bombing I went to 3/5, quite generous - but not even half as profitable as keeping Denmark like a satellite state and garnishing their entire income.
What's your point?

3) Sooo uh... can I take whatever's left of valuables in Denmark that they didn't take with them to Belgium-Denmark...?
Refer to my answer to question 1. In addition, note that you burned down the city of Copenhagen, where there might have been more money stashed away.

4) (whiny) How did they get through my panzer batallions in the Ruhr-area?
Jesus Christ get over it!

5) Can I use parts of the Danish population as forced labor to repair the damage IceEye did? and so on etc. like in my order?
Yes.

6) Is there any way to kill off IceEye's PC status as Denmark?
I guess if all the resistance is completely wiped out in Denmark and if the British Government withdraws their support of the Danish Government-in-Exile, they will not be able to last and will lose power.

7) Can I turn it into a satellite economy? Small countries amassing their economy seems much more powerful to me in virtually all NES's.

Satellite economy as in paying you tribute or whatever? Yes, if you turn Denmark into a satellite nation (in which case IceEye CAN choose to take over the satellite government, but I personaly doubt he'd be quick to become someone's puppet).

If your troops aren't withdrawn they may face hostile actions from the Tibetans.

Thanks Kamilian, that answers my questions. :)
And of course, I know that if you launch a concentrated effort then gaining a limited amount of land against a superior force for some time is perfectly achievable.
I think I'll keep the status qou and my orders for now.

And for the record, IceEye - I'm offering you puppet status as chief of a satellite government. I know you're extremely unlikely to accept it as you won't have an army but I promise it will be much better for your people in the long run... not that I don't want to be nice to them, but they're so awfully rebellious!

To: USEA & Russia
From: PRC

War looms on the horizon. The PRC does not wish for this to become a world war, however, and wishes for this conflict to be confined to Tibet. If the PRC, Manchuria, or Japan is attacked, then a world war will ensue.

To: USEA
From: PRC

Any ships found inside PRC/Japanese territorial waters will be treated as hostiles and sunk on sight.

To Tibet it is.

About the ships,I would expect as much, and the same rule goes for your ships.

Just a note, I'll start after the next update for various reasons.

General Seng is the top general of the Tibetan army. He looks over his troops before the long road ahead.
Brothers, I know you are tired and weary of fighting. Myself, I would rather be at home playing with my children than waging war. But this is unavoidable. We have been invaded and we must unite in strength in the face of brutal onslaught. If we do not stand now, our homes will be razed, our land will be taken, our children will be enslaved.

There is hope, however. Our Chinese brothers have come to help us fight the enemy. With our combined strengths we will prevail and Tibet will be at peace once more. Every victory will only add to our strength and take away from the enemy's.
General Seng salutes his troops and prepares for a life and death struggle.
