Kamilian- I really think that you should lower the cost of building a trade route to 1. With an economy like mine, an invader from the south requireing investment in the military, and the need to constantly invest in my economy if I don't want to loose it all, I simply can't even afford to build 1 trade route. In other words, I seriously think that 2 economy is too much to build a trade route.

Excellent update. Though I'm curious, are you keeping troop increases at 5% or lowering it to 1%

OK, back to the point... it might not state clearly in the rules (I'll check now and if it doesn't, I will correct it momentarily), but you spend 2 economy POINTS not LEVELS to start 1 trade route. For instance, all you have to do is use this turn to invest in increasing economy and you're already at the next level, which allows you to spend 4 economy points without dropping. So next turn, you can start a trade with Byzantium or whoever, and STILL have 2 points to use on anything else you want to invest on, including Army, Navy, Education, UU, or another trade route with someone else.

I remind that I will not push back deadline for procrastinators, and if I have to take out the wrath of God on 6 players (Lord Iggy just joined a day before deadline, so if he doesn't get orders in by then, I won't punish him cuz he just got in) then so be it.
