StKNES5: A New Lease on NES

If Krimzon doesn't claim Byzantium it is ALL MINE! Bwahahaha! ;)

please i can practically hear and see the sarcasm dripping from the "awesome update" posts
ya stats will not be done tonight as i got some prepping to do for one more spanish exam, and i gotta practice for my talent show performance
but tomorrow, i got a half-day at school, so i'm gonna complete them (got some of the stats done offline)
edit: i apologize for all my delaying and excuse-making, especially as i'm always on everybody's ass about getting orders done in time, so i'm like the most hypocritical mod in the history of NESing

longest. running. NES. ever.

no it's not
RTOR2 NES was 230-something pages, or even more. i should know. i read the whole damn thing and participated in the short-lived revival
and gelion's and goober's NESs, and das's, have lasted a hell of a lot longer. i remember one of das's NESs had like 30 pages before even the second update happened.
and anyways its quality, not quantity, and my quality is poor

I don't consider the quality too bad. This is one of the longest running ones in terms of sheer time in years...;)

Hey, when you're attached to your nation like me, you can see so much more in an update. Besides, it's a matter of letting the mod know he's appreciated. If you don't like it, I could say something like 'good update, but it was too short'.

From German Empire
To Lithuania

We demand that you return the city of Danzig to us or it is war. The people of Danzig are German and should be under German control. You are already treading on light water for even accepting the rebellion.

thanks for the appreciation

i'm just cranky cuz i keep delaying cuz things keep happening and i've been working on a mix (i have a hobby making eurodance mixes, but i'm still just learning the ropes and i'm using computer software rather than actual DJ hardware, which i can't afford) and it hasn't been working out that great either so it's like i'm losing my muses

stats are done
i will edit the army increases because, yeah, it's ridiculous that 3 million+ people Eire is getting the same amount of military as 1 million people nations

Trade?

From: Amazonia
To: Illinois

We would be interested in purchasing the Caribbean islands you control. These islands are very close to the mainland, and it would be easy to use them as a staging point for an invasion against Amazonia. Although we do not think you will do this, regimes can change, and for our security, we must own these islands. We offer you one economy point for them.

From the Illinois Empire
To Amazonia
We decline, the islands are a key strategic spot for securing the Gulf, and for new exploration, however we will allow your ships to dock there if you would like this.

ooc ummm why would i attack you? seriously... i have been peacefull for quite a long time (the entire game)

orders are due on saturday, at noon; i will respond to them that same day from legislatures and councils for countries that have such governmenst and the new orders will be due at 11 pm on sunday

Wow, I think I picked the absolute WORST time EVERRRRRR to misunderstand the due date for orders. I totally got effed in the ay. Yikes. *string of profanity*!

To the Seljuk Empire
from Kuril'taria
Alas, the Gr... the gathering of Tatars must submit to peace. But, as a sign of goodwill, if you return control of Samarkand and the surrounding farmlands to us, we will build an islamic temple in the name of your leader.

To Armenia and Persia
from Kuril'taria
We hope your petty faiths change AGAIN in the next half-century, and you realize that religion is no reason for war. Perhaps fun, perhaps wealth, perhaps power, but not something you can only have "faith" in.

To Afghanistan
We have signed peace at current borders with Seljuk. You have your independance from us. We hope you will sign peace at current borders with Travancore as well.

To Ruthenia
from Kuril'taria
Will you stand for Europeans under Islamic rule?

We don't think you'll attack us...but the islands are too close for comfort.

Would you at least be willing to sell the island closest to me?

That doesn't make sense... different econ levels give different numbers of spending points in this NES. :p
