stMjMNES1:First Blood

MjM.. I'm going to give you a word of advice..

7 days is the absolute maximum you can have between two consecutive updates if you want to keep players interrested. It's been 8 days now and I'm already starting to lose interrest, and I'm sure I'm not the only person feeling this way.

If you can't make updates by the date, then make it two updates a week instead of one, if you have only one update a week then you should not miss the updating day, otherweise you are just ruining your own nes!

I have seen Jason not do updates for at least a month once and look how sucsessful his NES's are. :p

North King had some splendid 2 week updates even though he eventually closed the nes not out of player lack of interest, but because he lost interest himself.

Orders? I don't even exist yet, so how can I do orders?

Ok silver, Contempt, send those orders in. It will be starting today, but seeing as we have to do MORE relative shuffling I won'r get much time on the comp. But she does have an old Mac, so we shall see.... :lol:

I just got back from a 4 hour flight from Ahemabad all the way here and I'm bloody tired. Could I send them tommorow?

My stats don't appear correct. Turn before last I ordered we should loot Pontic iron mines to bring me into the Early Iron Age also I spen to education to bring me one level higher than stupid. Also My wonder the Eternal City progress in not shown. I should have 2 progress by now right?

Grrhh.. sometimes I just hate the way how nessing has changed over the year I spend in the army.. 2 years ago a nes could not have survived a 2-week-wait between updates. Well I suppose it could be called "progress" when new nessing generations create their own rules instead of following the old ones.

Anyway, I'm quitting this, I'm one of the "old-school nessers" you see ;)

Thats too bad. Normally I would yell at myself for giving a 11 day wait. But in case you havent noticed, it is the holidays. As in i'm not at my house much, and when I was(am not now) it was for cleaning and wrapping and all sorts of things. No time to update an NES then.

Right now im at my Grandma's house. With none of the stats onhand or an update template I made formyself or the map, it would be hard to update. For Christ's sake, this keyboard has a broken spacebar! :lol: I have to copy and paste spaces. Trying to update like that is too hard. And Im not at this house to update, but to do some visiting (aka relative shuffling). So you see, I like updates fast too, but I also understand when a mod is busy. ;)

(there is a small reluctance to do the war-update this turn, but what the hay..)

Yes I can understand that you are busy, and I know how hard it is to mod a NES - I've tried it 3 times but never really modded one that was truly succesful (will try it once more once I get net access to the flat I live in now). But this is not a matter of who is being a lazy mod and who is just being a busy mod. I'm not accusing you of anything. This is a matter of me - getting used to play nesses with regular updates several times a week - losing interrest in nesses where updates are more seldom.

MjM, The internet hates you. :p

I've had a broken spacebar too. I used the hyphen. It's also a separator, so it works fairly well.

@MjM it's a rant generator site.

The current moderators could post crappier updates if you want Fin. But I know that I only have the spare time to update once a week. And my parents are angry whenever I use the computer, claiming that I'm an 'addict'.
