I'm hardly blowing up; you haven't read any of my rants. They're a lot more caustic than that. I was offering him advice, and it's perfectly sound advice: NESing is not the same as it was in the Golden Age, and whining about it to mods is not going to change that.
Furthermore, I am utterly confused as to how exactly I'm "acting like [I'm] better than everyone else", but if you're getting that out of my posts, I apologize. I can come across as rather blunt sometimes, but honestly, I was just as present as Amon in the days when updates came every two to three days. His comments have truth, but little relevance; it's a different game now, and I get extraordinarily annoyed at people who attack a mod for not updating fast enough (having had this happen to me before; it's not fun, fair, or at all useful).

It'll be alright. I'm like a grandpa telling his grandson stories about how hard the old days were, and how this new generation sucks, and everyone else is like the kids that are either listening and reverring, or not listening and saying "Piss off, old man. These are new times". Some people may actually take what I say to heart and try to change the way NES is going. Some will not, and that doesn't matter to me. I'm just busting bahls all the way around. If you don't like my . .. .. .. .. .ing, don't read my posts. I don't know where your country is in this NES, at any rate, so I don't think we have much useful to say to one another anyways. Thanks for the advice, however, and I didn't think you were acting better than everyone else, and I was perfectly fine to leave it at "Leaving doesn't work", because it really doesn't. I've tried it 3 times already hahaha.

Israelite is Calabria... whoah, you're right. There's someone in Mesopotamia, but I actually can't recall who, as I've never interacted with them.
I suppose that's only realistic. We hear of things from distant lands, but don't know the leaders. It's completely normal that Zyle and Nubia know each other better than anyone else.

La Repubblica was pinned into a corner with two choices. Destruction of La Repubblica while remaining a loyal partner, or destruction of hegemonic dictatorship while betraying its ally. The choice was a hard one to make, but in the end it became clear. Surely, Carthage, a republican empire, understands that the first loyalty is to one's people and the second is to one's ally?
