A widespread myth - I don't recall any such occasions. Lacks of updates is what kills NESes, not someone asking "Is this dead?".

(Btw, never suggest that an NES is dead, because that is usually what kills them - a belief on the part of the moderator that the players all have moved on.)

That's quite contrary to my opinion. I really don't want this to die, as it is one of my favorite NESes...

Actually, the Empire got somewhat depleted in the period 4 AY - 19 AY, and suffered some losses against the Vong (no "Yuuzhan" for those pr*cks ), making its fleets somewhat less than infinite. Unless this is pre-Yavin we're talking about.

And during the time of the Vong, the "Empire" ceased to exist. It was called the Imperial Remants for a reason

Theres one thing you didn't expect alex. due Einsteins theory of relativity, If i travel at speed of light, time slows down, causing you to age much faster than me. If i travel, say, one month at the speed of light you will age 50 years during that time , so I just travel couple months around universe and you'll all be dead by then and i can return safely
and when it comes to food, i think there's no problem with it... *looks at huge pile of supplies just stolen from alex's home*
